Correct, if we are the 15-16 national seed, we will play a team seeded 17-18 nationally. Texas St. was not that high. Such a fine line and we hope to end up on the 15-16 side or we are traveling.

Yeah, got it. I was misreading the "too high" part of your post.

BTW, you were right on Tech. I underestimated the committee and assumed they would elevate them into the Top 8. Seems they leaned more into SOS and metrics than I thought they would.

Concur with the consensus: Aggies should be happy getting to play at home. ASU coming in with a lot of momentum. 6-game win streak and a Big 12 championship win over Tech.

We were going to get Virginia Tech, Stanford or Arizona State being a 4 seed. Bring it! If we can't win our bracket we don't deserve to move on.

The host seeds went how I thought they should have based on the criteria we were told. I thought they might cave and move Texas Tech up to 8 but I'm glad the committee didn't reward their schedule. (#165 non-conf SOS - come on!) Their watch party looked very pouty.

Alabama just got the toughest #1 seed bracket I can remember. (Yes - even ours last year) USL is scrappy, but also Belmont! They should win, but to me the other top seeds (2-4 overall) have easier paths.
