Not a graphic but…

Friday starts 1pm (Aggies vs UConn). ASU/McNeese follows once they clear the stadium roughly 3:30. Each team only plays 1 game day 1.

Saturday starts at 2pm with day 1 winners, then day 1 losers (1 eliminated), then the two remaining 1-loss teams (1 eliminated)

Sunday starts 2pm, with a final game to follow if both teams have 1 loss after first one.

The only start time you can count on (weather permitting) is the first one each day. There is at least 30 minutes between games.

Their leadoff hitter Tanya Windle missed the entire month of March with an injury. Her first conference game was against UCF. Since her return they swept UH and BYU and beat Arizona, OK St and Tech in the Big 12 tournament

By my count, the team had 23 on it @ Regionals.

With the incoming Freshman (7), Graduated Seniors (6 - Grace, Taylor, Gracyn, KP, Micaela, Talley), and Retirements (2) should be at 22 players. Think the House Settlement said / limits the roster to 25. I could be wrong but think that is pretty close.

I try not to pay attention to Twitter banter because it's worse than TexAgs. But some folks brough up Maya Bland, the OU transfer who I think was dismissed from the team before the season. So wouldn't that also be an open roster spot? Wish the best for Taylor and DeeDee. Think they saw the lack of playing time and their progression as reasons. I know it's a difficult personal decision, but I applaud them for doing it!

The total have (23) includes Bland not being on the team. TexAgs has 23 players listed on the roster.

Wishing nothing but the best for DeeDee & Taylor. They both seemed like really great teammates and most of all humans.

This would be a bottom of our roster pitcher.

Maddy Wachter, Bryant University, American East Conference:
Overall Season: 3.60 ERA
Against P4 teams (games against Boston College and Virginia Tech): 9.13 ERA

The other girl, Nicole Edmaiston from Stetson in the ASUN, doesn't pitch. She is a 1B. She did hit .453 with 23 HR if we are looking for a 1B / DH type.

The girl from TX State could compete with our returners but isn't any guaranteed step up from them.

If we want an ace, that isn't coming from the bargain bin. Such an ace is likely playing for a team that they are leading currently in the Super Regionals and are still playing and headed to the World Series.

Yes. She is from Round Rock so pretty close to home. There was a time when Round Rock high was more Aggie than Longhorn but those days are long gone.

National 16 seed Oregon came out of the loser's bracket to win their own home regional last year and then beat Liberty 2-0 in the Super Regional including game 2 by a score of 13-1.

What happen to us last year is really hard to understand because we were really, really good.
