Just now got to watch. That 5 second penalty was huge. Seems likely that McLaren is the clear front runner for constructors but the driver championship could stay interesting if Max, Lando, and Oscar can trade some wins.
I skipped Cota last year after going the last 3 years but now thinking about it. Never been to Miami or Vegas.

I understand the penalty but holy crap the entertainment value would've been significantly higher if they just had them swap under caution

Swap is done proactively to avoid the penalty by the team. Not sure if the call came down Max would even do it.
Maybe it is just the orange but Lando feels like the Rickie Fowler of F1. Nice guy, fun, personality gateway for new fans but doesn't have "that dog in him".

Yeah Lando just isn't clutch, it seems like. Oscar has the same amount of wins as he does in F1 in 80+ less grand prix. Feels like this is Oscar's championship to lose if the McLaren remains this dominant.Robert C. Christian said:

I made it into Miami yesterday and spent a **** ton on Ubers to make it in time lol.
I don't watch DTS so I can't answer the question on how similar they are, but Ep 1 mostly focused on Lia Block and Bianca Bustamante and jumps in to Miami, which was the second round. A lot of BTS footage from the track that I've never seen before and of course some stuff from outside the track to introduce the drivers.
For future reference, we might be seeing a stronger year than usual in terms of resale.
Followed prices since last week, barely dip, the good deals get scooped up fast. Yesterday Turn 18 for Sat only was $240 all in but now its $330, so it went up overnight.
Other sites like Stubhub, TickPick, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats are all more expensive than buying through the circuit as they charge fees (SeatGeek was $200 on fees on a $750 ticket), if you buy through the circuit they don't charge fees.
My mission to get in for under FV failed here lol

This is ridiculous. Teams refuse to use the full wets and the stewards reward them.
I wonder how many teams will have enough fuel to finish, or if there will be enough for the required sample post race.

Verstappen should get way more than a 10 second penalty in the sprint for that dangerous release. That was so egregious it should be a 5-10 place grid penalty in the Grand Prix. So so bad
Also feel bad for Oscar, he got screwed with that safety car
