Lewis will likely never win a race again. He's too old to handle the car at peak against these young guns over the course of an entire race. The fact that he won a race at age 39 is incredible enough.

No I don't think that's a fair comparison. A better comparison would be that the Aggies have the best QB in the NFL with multiple championships. You don't have a team close to where you live so you root for that Aggie QBs team. Now he's being traded to a rival who ditched their longtime starting QB who was a longhorn for the Aggie . Max is my favorite driver so I pull for Red Bull. I also loved Riccardo and Sergio. Red Bull is in serious trouble. If McLaren had Oscar and Max I might junk on that train.

Most Mercedes fans who have watched more than 3 years hate Max. I hate Toto. I hate Russell as well but like Kimi. If Max went there I'd consider being a Mercedes fan now.

It's going to be crazy interesting.

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet, the F1 movie is a blast. Story was fine but the video and sound were epic.

As a Max fan, I hope Max take's George's seat. Red Bull is tanking hard and I have no confidence in their '26 powerplant and without Newey and all the others they've lost their chassis development is behind now too.

George was somewhat likeable when he was in the Williams until he crashed Botas hard that last season. Once he got to Merc he became a whiny little biotch. I love that he was faster than Lewis the last 2 years though, as obviously as a Max fan I cannot like Lewis. I will acknowledge Lewis was awesome, and that his actions off the track to use his media platform and money to do good is admirable. Like Alonso, he has lost some sharpness to age, but they are both still better than all but the top 5-6 drivers and could still win and challenge for championships if they had the car advantage the McLarens have.

Will Merc fans embrace Max if this happens, some will and some will switch teams.

I hope it happens because Toto is my absolute favorite Team Principal. Christian is a a wanker, Zach is a ******bag, Fred reminds me of papa Smurf, Vowles is probably going to be great, and everyone else really don't matter at this point.

It's going to be an interesting silly season. Honestly, dream scenario for me as a Max fan would be Max and Oscar at McLaren but that will never happen, and I hate Zach more than any Principal so it's hard to even wish for.

You're missing the point. People who are fans of specific teams or individuals have loyalty to just that. There's a small percentage who do not fit this bucket.

How can you hate a man named Toto Wolf? He calls his drivers out on the radio when they are being cry babies, and he is so chill. One of the DTS episodes I actually watched last year had him and Fred V. walking in the paddox and laughing and talking and it reminded me of the '80s movie Twins with Arnold S. and Danny Devito.

He seems to me to be the most normal and least sleazy of the principals that actually gets any press coverage.

Bearman 10 place grid position penalty and 4 license penalty points for wrecking out entering pit road while under red flag. Was attempted to simulate race conditions entering the pits and had forgotten to warm up his brakes.

Ferrari doing Ferrari things. Hamilton barely in Q2 qualifying position told to come in. Asks why because there is more time and the team tells him there isn't enough fuel.

Max with a much needed pole

Just now catching the end of P1 and Ferrari leaving Hamilton with enough gas for just one lap after the red flag was unbelievably frustrating. Watching the last 4 minutes of Q1 was pretty nerve-wracking, just waiting for their strategy to, yet again, bite them in the ass.

One of the more entertaining qualis this season. 5 drivers had a legit shot at pole. Lewis was cooking until he hit that curb in the 3rd sector.

I think that's just Ferrari making sure they get something wrong

At this point the race may be lucky to get more than 10 consecutive laps without a yellow, VSC, or weather change.

The drivers on the inters are getting pretty lucky with all these VSCs
