drivers are having trouble with Monaco this year. Leclerc wreck in fp1. Hadjar clipped the wall in fp2. Piastri just went head first into the wall. looks like he is going to get lucky with just losing his front wing.

these cars are just too big for Monaco. there has been so much complaining during FP2. I think every driver has complained about another driver doing something "stupid" at this point.
Time to break out these bad boys .....
Have them race in go-karts or say goodbye to Monaco. Worst race of the year by far. Great people watching though.

This is actually a great idea. Give everybody equal cars(go-karts or just smaller cars) and just do a race for fun with monetary prizes. I don't understand Mercedes strategy, this race is almost halfway over and neither car has been in. Seems like they would've pitted early and tried to go long.

Whoever said earlier in the thread that Merc punted on this race, that was spot on.
Williams is really mucking up the race the way they're intentionally holding up the back half of the field.

Don't judge F1 based on this race. It's become the worst actual race on the calendar despite all the history. The cars are way too big now to allow on track overtakes so it's been reduced to a fast parade for 90 minutes.
Unfortunately Monaco is beyond broken from a racing standpoint. Cars are too big, course is too tight. And this 2 stop requirement was a really bad call.
Normally F1 races have a minimum one stop requirement and you have to use a minimum of two tyre types (Soft Medium Hard). Monaco put in a special requirement for pit stops and tyre sets this year to try to shake up the race a bit.

The European stretch lasts most of the summer. Silverstone in Great Britain is usually the highlight race of that stretch.Sex Panther said:

In the fall you have the Americas stretch of US (COTA), Mexico, Brazil, and Las Vegas.
Typical snoozer. The real race is on Saturday.

It wasn't a gaffe in this instance because he only had the pace for 4th, even if they had pitted earlier. At that point, Red Bull was hoping for a Red Flag or safety car so that he could get a free pit stop and not lose a spot.
Although it was mostly a snoozer… I enjoyed Merc and Russell's implosion after being c*ck-blocked by Williams.
Fast forwarded the "race". Monaco is beyond bad at this point.
I do appreciate max trying his hardest to give us something interesting between Lando and Charles but pretty normal Monaco snoozer

I've had F1 TV for a few years and I wish they would improve the interface for their TV/APP
1. The login is annoying. I'd rather be able to scan a QR code or login via the web as opposed to entering my email and password on my TV
2. The fast forwarding is always clunky and could use some work
3. Give me the option of starting a race from the beginning or live. Right now it just drops in to the live shot if the race has already started
4. Let me download races and shows to my device! I spent several hours in planes this week and the WiFi was never fast enough to be able to stream from the app. I wanted to catch up on a lot of F1A, F2, and F3 while I had some downtime.
