"This was a remarkable effort for our team. I honestly thinks this ranks as one of our better wins in that I can recall. There were a lot of heroes, but what amazing composure by our freshman Anna Perelman to push us across the finish line. She had a match point at 5-3 deuce that didn't go our way, and she did a great job of staying in the moment and pulled out the 5-4 deuce game to seal the deal for the Aggies. To drop the doubles point against one of the best teams in the nation and to respond the way we responded says a whole lot about our group's resiliency."

Now I'm curious what the potential is for our team with our freshmen addition! Mia and Lulu playing like a true 1-2 combo, Lexington moving into a more comfortable role, although the win today should not be overlooked. Daria is about as good as it gets for a line 6. I'd be interested to see if we do keep Daria at 5 and move Martinez to 6. Her style seems prime for a line 6 nightmare match up

Thanks again to anchorhold for the clip of Anna's winning point. I sent it to my Russian friend this morning. I also included the cracked raquets youtube link, setting it to start right as Anna went down 15-40 in the last game. No problem! I watched the youtube video several times. Watching the action but also several times watching only Lulu on the left side, against the wall, and a few times watching only Mark. After the winning point Mark walked over to Anna, put a hand on her shoulder and said something quick, and then walked away to let the girls celebrate. I dig that. A lot.
