Agree. It also messes up the seedlings. Some top school will get LSU earlier than they should in NCAAs.
Although I hope those two are gone when we play them!

In a match where literally everything mattered, her team's 6-2 win in doubles was literally the difference in the match.

Pro sets haven't been used in quite a while. It's been down to one set to 6, no AD. It's part of the revolution of college tennis to make the matches shorter so they don't take 5+ hours

I'd leave the doubles alone for now. Might try something different in singles, but I'm not Mark and have no idea what metrics he uses for the singles lineup. Experience matters. But so does winning.

ok cool I was at A&M 20 years didnt realize they had changed the rules. I like it.
I know Daria lost today, these conditions are very tough for her game. She fought hard though. Not sure what to change. I'd leave Lulu because it's like an automatic point. I like doubles a lot at this point. Mia, fights to the end but seems to just be a few deuce points away from putting away a huge win. The amount of 3 setters she's had this spring is crazy

Because the only people that pay for tickets sit in the stadium club. Thats why they play on that side.

I don't understand the Nicole situation/injury. She is there supporting the team and jumping up and down and celebrating. I have seen her at sporting events several times and she always seems perfectly fine as far as no limp etc. I genuinely do not know what could possibly keep someone out for 8 months at this age but never see any effects of it or hear anything about surgery
Apparently she had surgery a few months ago because she didn't want to have it last summer. Definitely something fishy about the timing of it all.
I get it. I played college tennis too. I was even burned out by my Soph year. A&M tennis is more demanding than what I went through. I feel like there could be multiple reasons here. But Nicole has given this school some big wins. She's still there finishing the season out as a good teammate.
