Just an all encompassing thread for all the events over the next 2 weeks. The Olympics are my favorite sporting event behind the World Cup.

For pure spectacle, I don't think Beijing 2008 has been topped. Although making the performers wear diapers so they could practice for 12 hours without any breaks was probably a little bit extreme.

My granddaughter, Avery Krumme, is in 4th place going into the finals in Women's Freestyle Slope. She is the lone American Team member to make the finals and is only 17 years old. Rooting for my girl to make the podium! Gig'em!
