Not to dissuade anyone from voting for their favorites, but right now Jurassic Park is the T-Rex and Total Recall is Mr. Gennaro.

Interesting. Non-scientific polling on my own here on TexAgs leads me to believe that Tombstone is one of TexAgs' favorites. That movie is referred to frequently, especially with the "Well .... bye" meme. And it is a damn good movie.Quote:
If anything Tombstone doesn't get enough love.
It 's a shame we never have any huge global pandemics where you're encouraged to stay inside fr months on in and could try out some new movies.caleblyn said:

But personally, I found Wyatt Earp to be a far better made, better written, and better scored movie. Loved Costner's portrayal of Wyatt Earp, and especially Dennis Quaid's Doc Holliday. Yet I rarely see any references to this movie. Perhaps it was not quite so much an action movie as was Tombstone, it was more a biopic covering Wyatt's entire life.

Wyatt Earp: 3h32m
That's probably got something to do with it.

I agree with Brain and that Tombstone is overrated. There's some good individual scenes, some great one liners and Val Kilmer had an all time great performance, but I feel that Tombstone is a movie where the sum isn't as good as its parts.
I have three kids...my movie selection has been more like; Onward, Scoob, all five Pirates of Caribbean, all 3 Back to the Futures, Trolls, etc.MuckRaker96 said:It 's a shame we never have any huge global pandemics where you're encouraged to stay inside fr months on in and could try out some new movies.caleblyn said:

Check out The Willoughbys on Netflix if you haven't already, you might find it even funnier than they do.caleblyn said:I have three kids...my movie selection has been more like; Onward, Scoob, all five Pirates of Caribbean, all 3 Back to the Futures, Trolls, etc.MuckRaker96 said:It 's a shame we never have any huge global pandemics where you're encouraged to stay inside fr months on in and could try out some new movies.caleblyn said:

Well that says more about you then you probably wanted us to know.
Nope. Not trolling. My opinions often fly in the face of TexAgs group think, as in, I like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull more than Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, or the Star Wars prequels are not the worst abominations ever put to film (which is what I would come away with if I had just come here from Planet X and stumbled across this site).caleblyn said:Wyatt Earp > TombstoneCinco Ranch Aggie said:Interesting. Dennis Quaid Doc > Kilmer's Doc
Trolling?
Temple of Doom and Crystal Skull suck in equally large proportions.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:caleblyn said:Cinco Ranch Aggie said:Quote:
