TexAggers, I have heard your cries for justice. Never let it be said I am not a benevolent quiz master.

Here as reparations for the #GEM movement (GoldenEye Matters), is the all-exclusive Golden Eye region.

Wow a lot of interesting rankings in Action and Adventure

Die hard 2, face/off, batman forever, tomorrow never dies seeded above Die hard with a vengeance

Face/off and die hard 2 seeded above Crimson Tide

Golden Eye ranked dead last (as it's been hashed out, but still, DAMN)

Ronin at #22?

Sneakers isn't really an action movie...so I guess it's hard to seed since it's a hacker movie

Bad Boys is ranked below everything above except Golden Eye?
Bruce Almighty

It always cracks me up that Minnie Driver is the Russian cabaret singer in goldeneye. It's just so random.

We sure are arguing a lot about a bunch of movies that won't make it past the final 4.

I would vote for literally every single one of the comedies over every one of these in the action category. I never realized how terrible the 90's was for action movies until now. The 80s and the 2000s are head and shoulders above the 90s in this category.

I guess now would be the wrong time to tell you that Tomorrow Never Dies is beating Crimson Tide.
Was TND the 007 movie with the Star Wars reference (The Empire Will Strike Back)? Outside of Goldeneye, I do agree that the Pierce Brosnan Bond movies were largely forgettable, and even includes arguably the worst Bond movie ever made in Die Another Day.

CT is one of the best sub movies I've ever seen. I like it better than the film version of The Hunt For Red October since that movie didn't really do the book the justice it deserved. CT gives us several lines from Gene Hackman that I've used on occasion in everyday conversation:

If you can't keep up with me, then that stinging sensation you will be feeling in the seat of your pants will be my boot in your ass.

Yes sir, drop that f***r, twice.

Update: GoldenEye proving significantly less popular than Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Jimbo Fisher, BlueBell Ice Cream, Marcus Allen for some reason, and Jake Fromm's mom.

The N64 Golden Eye game was legit. I dusted off the old N64 a few weeks ago and wasted a lot of hours in the quarantine just blasting away.

Fargo vs Heat was an easy pick. Heat has very good scenes, but like every Michael Mann movie, is overly long.

American History X vs Good Will Hunting is brutal.

Biggest winner was Tombstone as it should be - the most quotable movie for me and my entire poker group. It deserves to win this bracket actually. imho.

I'll be THAT guy today and say..... where the hell is BRAVEHEART?????

It won 5 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director and nominated for 10. It made good box office too and is highly rated.

Yep incredible depth. I voted for more lower seeds than in any other bracket.

the last three are of course closely seeded and damn near a tossup for me on each.
Se7en vs Reservoir Dogs
Sixth Sense vs A Few Good Men
American Beauty vs LA Confidential

ugh i love all of those
