As far as known bands?

Skinny Puppy
Meshuggah
Ministry (actually, would be surprised if no one here has been to one of their show)
Melvins

Wife and I saw Meshuggah and Ministry on the same bill. I think Hemlock (a sludge band from Vegas ) opened

Now that would haven been a great night. I figured no one here would have probably seen them (Meshuggah) and Skinny Puppy (which probably does hold true).
Got to consider that nearly every band was once an opener.

I saw meshuggah open for Tool on their '02 tour.

In a wierd tie in, ministry, mentioned above, now has a member that was once a member of Tool; Paul D'Amour.

Oh yea, I follow Tool and Ministry very closely since both of there beginnings. Paul D is a very good bassist, but a bigger fan of both Paul Barker and Justin Chancellor. Did see where Paul Barker was joining Ministry again for one last album.

meshuggah is one of the few active bands on my top tier of favorites that i've not seen live sadly. i did however see ministry with the melvins and coc, front row balcony.. had those tickets for years, literally. bought them the day they went on sale and then it got rescheduled multiple times around covid. that was my second time seeing the melvins- got to see them with napalm death and melt banana a few years back also. that was a lot of fun too.

Saw Melvins back in 1994 opening for NIN. Not long after Houdini was released. I have not seen Napalm Death live, jealous. Big fan of Barney

Saw The Pixies open for U2. Whatever tour it was when Duke played the Michigan Fab Five because it was the same night.

I did not and still do not understand the Pixies worship.

I saw them in '91 and then 2010. Pure greatness, but they aren't for everyone.
