Right now, one ship of LNG from the US to EUR is clearing almost $200,000,000 profit. Pretty wild number. I don't know who did what related to this, but American LNG companies are making it rain.
That's a lot of NIL money. We going to be good this recruiting season.

Haha wow. Most of Russia's initial force is injured, dead, or exhausted, and the replacement situation is so dire that Putin levied a mass conscription that sent hundreds of thousands of people in that critical demographic running for the border. Most of the ones that don't draft dodge are going to be depressed and under trained, and will give up and surrender at the first sign of real danger.

I'm not saying Ukraine is out of the woods, but Russia is in deep ***** They simply can't handle western military equipment, doctrines, and training. Maybe Russia wins by throwing bodies at the Ukrainians for two years, but if Putin goes that route a coup is not out of the question. This isn't 1900. Their citizens are going to get tired of dying and living in squalor under crushing sanctions.

You can see Russia's priority of securing potable water for Crimea, first 3 hours that was a priority. Zelensky was withholding freshwater by cementing the canals from the Dniper.

You can see that Russia claimed all the coastline in the south. When all this is said and done, Russia owns the EEZs for all the O&G.

The referendas will be confirmed by Russia short after the vote and the Russian majority provinces will be admitted into Russia instead of autonomous-ish republics. That should tell you something. Rather than have a buffer state, it's now going to end up as members in the Russian federation...under Putins direct sovereignty instead of a partner like Belarus.

Do you deny Russia took the Avozstal? It was well known as the staging point of UKR forces into the Donbass provinces.

Biden's Under Secretary (in January): Putin, if you invade Ukraine the sanction will be NS2 goes away.

Biden (in February): Putin, if you invade Ukraine the sanction will be NS2 goes away.

Putin: Dare you. And invades Ukrain.

Not a follower of him but Jordan Peterson told Piers Morgan this week it's obvious Russia is prevail here.

Is JP "an ivan"?

Does JP seem like someone who doesn't have credible sources and speaks out of ignorance on things?

He certainly isn't a fan of dictators. Maybe. Just maybe what you think is happening is just spin to feed your endorphins.

Russia doesn't own anything, when it's all said and done. Putin totally miscalculated. The first thing to do when you realize you are in a hole is to stop digging.

No one believes those sham referendums and most of those areas will be back in Uke control by next summer, if not sooner.

Wrong. It's is currency and when we print it and send it overseas we devalue it. It's not right to say "we have 8.5% inflation but so what if it doubles and Americans suffer even more ...as long as we embarrass Putin." That is the logic of a child. Can you point to the doll and show us where Putin touched you that caused you to dismiss American suffering to "get the bad man Putin".

The government doesn't have money. They either take it from tax payers or go into debt, which is our debt.

Maybe help Americans instead of "spending it on fun" or "trying to embarrass people". What is happening in our country is a result of child-like thinking like yours. Like a child, you only examine perceived benefits without considering actual cost.

Yes I have. All that money and we can't defend our own borders. But we sure will send all that money overseas for other countries borders. Let Europe defend Europe. I've been complaining about how much we spend in NATO, Japan, SK, Germany etc etc.

The big bad Russia that everyone has hyped was a lie. It was just to fleece money out of the United States.

Idk. That guy doesn't sound very technical for someone who grew up in oilfields. Specifically, methane will not explode or combust without an oxidizer, and he should know that.

I do think the hypothesis of a methane hydrate plug getting launched and rupturing the line is plausible, but we're talking a physical breach, not an explosion. I admit I might be overly critical here, but unless air entered the line in large enough quantities to cross the lower flammability limit, an explosion did not occur.

No, I think he means a computer hack that led to physical pipeline damage. I've seen the pictures of the boiling sea where the gas is reaching the surface, so I don't think anyone can deny that there's evidence of physical damage to the pipeline.

Agreed. But I meant did he mean somehow triggering an overload, or to use an analogy from railroads -- mucking with controls where two converging trains are on the same track. A forced failure so to speak.

74OA - You are WAY over thinking this. As are the men on the video you linked. Biden gave Putin notice back in February this would be the sanction if he invaded Ukraine. He's on camera saying so:

And it wasn't him speaking off the cuff. Here's Under Secretary of State Victoria Nulan saying pretty much the same thing before Biden said it, in January:

And this series of posts give insight into how it was done:
https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3323179/replies/63107107

So the Who Done It is pretty obvious to anyone who is even remotely objective in their analysis. Either the U.S. did it, or the U.S. trained and provided the expertise and equimpment for Ukrainian operatives to do it so we could maintain plausible deniability (If the U.S. actually did it on our own, it would almost certainly constitute an act of war.)

Tucker's segment (posted either earlier in this thread or another thread on this topic) does a good job laying it all out.

Must be Putin's fan club claiming the USA was behind the pipeline leaks.
I think it's more like Joe Biden doing what he said would be done.
No way it's the US.

Everything pointing to RUSSIA

You guys 1) refusing to take Biden at his word and 2) drawing irrational conclusions are almost comical.

Why would Russia blow up the pipeline used to transport Russian gas to European markets, costing Russia and Russian companies 100s of Millions of Dollars every day??

Well, well, well. What do we have here??!! Another day, another "conspiracy theory" proven to be truth. Biden gave the order to blow up Nordstream.

How will Russia respond to this Act of War??
