This wasn't Russia.
ICYMI, the U.S. Navy 6th Fleet recently conducted "exercises" and "research" with "mock explosives" in the exact location where the pipeline blew up.

Guilty. Logic says this is correct, but it's hard to believe it and still feel good about our place in the world. We don't live in a vacuum. We've screwed the Euros and very likely done the same with ourselves.Quote:

Possible that the Ukes are making damn sure that the Euros don't cave on them to get their gas back and give the rus Crimea in a negotiated peace settlement? Idea starting to make some sense to me so somebody tell me why they wouldn't

So very well said. Anyone who is actually critically thinking knows this wasn't Russia. And if you look at international outcry the majority of blame is being levied at the United States. It's seems the only people who can't fathom it was the US are the US…
one of the major "achievements" of the operation was the collection of over 200 hours of undersea data - data which presumably included precision mapping of the exact location of the Nordstream pipelines that was sufficiently precise for remote sabotage pic.twitter.com/iV8KfTDWMF

training of Ukrainians in use of advanced underwater drones is shown in video herehttps://t.co/TQ05IgvNaw

The UK trainer observes that drones "know where it is in relation to the surface". I.e. it's capable of exactly locating the Nordstream pipelines that US drones had mapped. pic.twitter.com/xtBK3palA2
the Royal Navy article on the training operation (joint with US Navy) stated that the UK gave "six of the underwater drones to Ukraine"https://t.co/UYJ6IlZAhL pic.twitter.com/bqKVdiEZCp

So the US was in possession of precision location data of Nordstream pipelines; Ukraine specialists had been trained by UK and US in the use of underwater drones which could be precisely controlled remotely; UK gave six advanced drones to Ukraine. Means, motive, opportunity

True enough. But as said earlier, this is an entirely self-serving administration. Not just America, but the West is secondary to what furthers its power and agendas.agent-maroon said:Guilty. But how could Biden's handlers possibly hope to keep such an operation truly secret long term? None of the military forces used would ever divulge it?titan said:True enough. Y'all spend way too much time on 4chan cooking up conspiracy theories. I don't even know how y'all function in the real world.
By self-serving what was saying is the fact that it would harm Europe is not a reason by itself you could count on these guys not doing it. Your objection there is a better one. But its too soon to tell if there exist players willing to take credit. For example, it probably would not hurt Ukraine at all to claim it. But when you look at the capability the list becomes far shorter. And mind, this is all assuming the sabotage is an external event.nortex97 said:But how could Biden's handlers possibly hope to keep such an operation truly secret long term? If they had the means they are the best candidate of all, because they are already at war.agent-maroon said:
Check out Que Te Gusta Mas posted tweets up the page. Seems the Ukes had underwater drones and had been trained to use them for clearing mines & unexploded ordnance. They had a lot to lose if the Euros caved to the Russians and negotiated away their hard won territories to get their gas turned back on.
Call it a conspiracy if you must, but if the Ukes had the means then there is no doubt in my mind that they would do this in an instant.

I really doubt the Ukes had any naval assets in this area conducting underwater demolitions. Has anyone looked at what is left of the Ukrainian navy, particularly as a deployable deep water force?

How damn hard is it to replace a section of pipeline such as this? Obviously water would fill the whole thing/has at this point, but I'd think this could be repaired in weeks, not months.

Look at what they had (drones), where they had it, and what they had that could get to Nordstream pipelines. Also, going from operating a drone to cut/collect a surface mine, vs. going to precisely cut a hole in a pipeline at the bottom of the sea is…a different mission/hardware set.Que Te Gusta Mas said:nortex97 said:
