So very well said. Anyone who is actually critically thinking knows this wasn't Russia. And if you look at international outcry the majority of blame is being levied at the United States. It's seems the only people who can't fathom it was the US are the US…

Guilty. Logic says this is correct, but it's hard to believe it and still feel good about our place in the world. We don't live in a vacuum. We've screwed the Euros and very likely done the same with ourselves.

Possible that the Ukes are making damn sure that the Euros don't cave on them to get their gas back and give the rus Crimea in a negotiated peace settlement? Idea starting to make some sense to me so somebody tell me why they wouldn't
While that is a compelling reason, I dont think the Ukes have the capability.

We are shrouded in our gaslighting media and party in power. So only by thinking of other factors do you come to a different conclusion.

True enough. But as said earlier, this is an entirely self-serving administration. Not just America, but the West is secondary to what furthers its power and agendas.

But how could Biden's handlers possibly hope to keep such an operation truly secret long term? None of the military forces used would ever divulge it?

Ha I've been out of the pipeline game for a long time but others are correct, these are just concrete coated steel pipelines laid off a pipelay barge. There is a setback at each weld joint where there is no concrete. As others have said, this isn't very deep in the scheme of things. I laid a 42" pipe in the north sea that was much deeper. I was just a hand though, there are certainly some folks who are probably on the engineering side of subsea construction thst will be able to tell you a lot more.

Here is a video of a massive squid we saw with the ROV
while doing a deep water job in the gulf when I worked subsea construction. Nothing to do with pipeline, but the ocean is wild.

Check out Que Te Gusta Mas posted tweets up the page. Seems the Ukes had underwater drones and had been trained to use them for clearing mines & unexploded ordnance. They had a lot to lose if the Euros caved to the Russians and negotiated away their hard won territories to get their gas turned back on.

Call it a conspiracy if you must, but if the Ukes had the means then there is no doubt in my mind that they would do this in an instant.

When is this thing gonna pop off?

Unbelievable what we seeing go down here.

We are looking at modern warfare.

Psycological warfare
Biological warfare
Biological counter-measures
Cyber warfare
Conventional warfare

Nuclear war is being threatened willy-nilly

And now what looks like some sort of targeted attack on an undersea pipeline in the Baltic Sea by some unknown state supported actor.

And on top of that, we are on the precipice of a global financial crisis, collapse of the EU and probably the collapse of most global currencies.

Who in the hell knows what we are about to see go down? Who the **** knows?

Anything is possible.

By self-serving what was saying is the fact that it would harm Europe is not a reason by itself you could count on these guys not doing it. Your objection there is a better one. But its too soon to tell if there exist players willing to take credit. For example, it probably would not hurt Ukraine at all to claim it. But when you look at the capability the list becomes far shorter. And mind, this is all assuming the sabotage is an external event.

If they had the means they are the best candidate of all, because they are already at war.

China remains a longshot possibility. We have strange unrest apparently going on there. The timing may matter. And they could probably get away it being not traced to them.

How damn hard is it to replace a section of pipeline such as this? Obviously water would fill the whole thing/has at this point, but I'd think this could be repaired in weeks, not months.

I really doubt the Ukes had any naval assets in this area conducting underwater demolitions. Has anyone looked at what is left of the Ukrainian navy, particularly as a deployable deep water force?

Look at what they had (drones), where they had it, and what they had that could get to Nordstream pipelines. Also, going from operating a drone to cut/collect a surface mine, vs. going to precisely cut a hole in a pipeline at the bottom of the sea is…a different mission/hardware set.

Further, If a superpower were to execute a mission to damage these pipelines as such, they wouldn't outsource it to be done covertly by some newbie trained Ukrainian operators.

One thing to consider that could turn it back to Russia's own doing is if it is indeed true that it is a "relatively simple repair" --- if it is, the odds of a false flag make more sense. Because its easily undone. However, if it is serious difficult damage, it just doesn't add up for Russia to remove their own playing card when they haven't hidden their willingness to blackmail with it.

Of course not. This is just the cover story to be in the area.
