How would blowing up the pipeline benefit us, the EU, or NATO?
It doesn't, IMO.
It doesn't but it benefits the globalist. The US President said he was going to do.

No, that is Anne Applebaum's husband... She is the biggest Russia hater in media. He is sincerely thanking the US for sabotaging Russia's pipeline.HumpitPuryear said:Former PM of Poland blaming the US for sabotaging the NS pipeline is how I read it.CDUB98 said:Que Te Gusta Mas said:Thank you, USA. pic.twitter.com/nALlYQ1Crb

What the hell is this twitdick spouting on about?
Biden didn't need to act because Germany shut down Nord Stream 2 all on its own.Yukon Cornelius said:CDUB98 said:

Actually I don't think he was a PM but a deputy PM but he has held several positions in the Polish defense dept. He's more than a journalist's husband. He is a big Russia and Germany hater. He probably was sincere and he probably knows it's true or he wouldn't have said it publicly which is still a major issue for US foreign policy and exposes us to the financial responsibility for the pipelines.New Brunfells said:No, that is Anne Applebaum's husband... When I was a undergrad, I heard a presentation from a consulting firm about ocean floor pipelines. A supermajor wanted to know the costs to build a structure that would protect a pipeline sitting across a shipping channel bottom from a shipping container falling off a cargo ship. So they did a huge risk analysis, FEA studies on various shielding designs, opportunity cost losses + environmental costs of clean up.cbr said:
45" pipeline, 1.6" wall thickness at about 500-1000' of cold ass water. Just fyi

German protesters line the streets in protest. They protest against Germany's sanctions against Russia, sanctions that have caused the shutdown of the NordStream pipeline and caused gas prices to soar. pic.twitter.com/Ntb87sIm51

I don't think the people in power hate our country. I think they've fallen victim to the same notion many other Americans are afflicted with. They think Globalization is somehow better than Nationalism. Maybe they think Globalization is inevitable and they want to be the one picking teams rather than the one left out if teams are picked by someone else.Yukon Cornelius said:
Anyone who thinks Russia did this is being emotional and not thinking.
Russia is instituting a draft. Russia is shutting its border. Russia is ordering iodine pills. Putin has said nuclear weapons are possible. It's happening folks. And we are egging it on. The people in power hate our country.
......and it didn't because Germany shut it down all on its own.Yukon Cornelius said:

No one addresses the question of "why"?
Russia already shut down Nordstream 1 and Germany already shut down Nordstream 2. So, sabotage doesn't further alter the EU or global energy market.
Nordstream gas still remains off as before, Europe still has no plans to restart either pipeline after the Ukraine war is settled--even if the pipelines are intact--and why would Russia destroy its sunk investment and eliminate any possibility of future gas contracts thru Nordstream while further motivating the EU to find alternative suppliers.
I still don't see who stands to gain.
Rogue elements in Russia (threatened oligarchs and military leaders)…….windows and stairs have been dangerous over there latelyYukon Cornelius said:

Norway's largest oil and gas company Equinor said last week that it had informed the authorities of its observations of unidentified drones flying near some of its production areas.

i actually said the facts don't make logical sense if you go down the list of potentials; but this whole situation is not logicalYukon Cornelius said:2wealfth Man said:

So you admit you're viewing this with a bias that it's impossible a state did this. That's a bad way to analyze data.
I don't understand how people can't at least accept the possibility the NeoCons in the US/NATO took down NS2 to force a war; a war they've been wanting since the cold war.Yukon Cornelius said:2wealfth Man said:
