I'm referring to Republican motivation. Many of us that voted for Trump voted for things promised and they weren't done. Therefore, we have little faith that our vote actually matters. This affects Republican turnout. It's evident in Virginia and will be evident in the midterms.

Not to be pessimistic but it looks like the major cities are the ones with remaining votes and kalshi is giving it 99% to pass

Why would anyone be stunned about rural red counties voting against this? Urban core will carry the day here unless you get some defectors in those areas.

Twenty years ago, it was. After Obama? And the weaponization of our elections which started under his campaign in 2008? Why was Hillary sooooo sure she was winning in 2016? All of this redistricting, in the states that are doing redistricting, just means we are eliminating most toss up districts…I think I heard a stat that there are maybe 15 tossup districts in the entire US.
