Texas needs to redraw again. Limit the Dems to one seat to neutralize VA. Every red state needs to re-draw immediately.

No they didn't, and those who keep saying this prove they're just as uninformed as we already knew they were, which is why they vote for a party that celebrates mental illness and not enforcing our laws at the expense of Americans.
The best part is that it proves that for Dems, the ends ALWAYS justify the means. They were calling out Republicans for this, calling it a "blight on democracy." And yet, their response is to DO EXACTLY THE SAME THING BUT WORSE.

No…WORSE. You're totally fine with disenfranchising almost half the voters in a state. A 52-46 state shouldn't have an 88% majority.
You guys are beyond pathetic.

Trump had a big day. First a TACO and then a FAFO. Well done, just like his steaks.
You're a male Democrat. In 2026.
I'd hide behind that username too if I were you.

It's literally one of the biggest topics in politics in this country. LOL.

So you believe that each state should have representation consistent with its popular vote? I happen to agree.

Both of you are massively ignorant or lying. Why not both since you are likely Democrats.
Your lies have already been proven false in this very thread.
Your posts are why we can't compromise with you anymore.

Weird derail. All of my male friends from A&M are democrats (or at least independent). They loathe trump. And they're all successful in business and family. Again, strange comment.

Do that, and you may end up dummymandering the state, taking safe R districts and putting them into lean R districts. The real question though is has that already happened?

The amount of cognitive dissonance one must possess to not connect very easy dots from redistricting Texas because its not fair to this Virginia election just bottles the mind. I'm on team stop gerrymandering and draw nonpartisan maps and let the chips fall.

According to simulations run by FiveThirtyEight's "Atlas of Redistricting" projectwhich modeled this exact scenario of a nationwide partisan gerrymandering arms racethe resulting 435-seat House map would look roughly like this:Republicans: ~262 seats
Democrats: ~173 seats

I'm not a lawyer, but I can't get past the legality of the question posed on the ballot measure. That goes beyond a political maneuver for gerrymandering right?
