There was all of a sudden a bunch of movement in the war room. The QB coach was in the room and there were smiles, some high fives and just a bunch of sudden movement
Carson Beck was taken by the Cardinals immediately after so there had to be some sort of inside bets or whatever about Carson Beck. The QB coach was very vocal... Maybe somebody owes him $100.

It's been a long while since Jerry reached for an injured player that would have been a 1st rounder healthy. He likes to crow about spending a 2nd or 3rd on a 1st round talent.

He hasn't played in over a year and is going to need another procedure to fix his knee.
By the time he even gets in the practice field he will be 2+ years removed from football and he will only have 3 years left on his rookie deal.
It's the same procedure that Diggs had and Diggs was far from OK after.
McCoy probably free falls into day 3.

My gosh... I guess everybody found out that TE was a sleeper pick in the 4th or 5th round for Dallas and they all decided to draft them on day 2.

I would definitely take either of those guys if they are still there. Malik is an outstanding player and Parker could fix Perkins for sure.

Agree. He's too talented. I have absolute faith that Parker could get him back to when he was a freshman.

Washington out of Arkansas is a stud. I think he will end up a legit NFL starter

Perkins was an absolute menace his freshman season. Literally won them the game at Arkansas.
Football negligence to move him off ball and make him think.
Could see it going either way with him. He's always going to be on the skinnier side, but he is an insane athlete. Also appears to be a football r-tard.

Fills the role we were just talking about with Perkins.
Sort of an Arvell Reese without the OSU hype. Super talented and athletic. Raw player that is a bit of projection, but the guy can play and, when you ask him to go get the QB, he can be a dog.
Not exactly the Jacob Rodriguez pick we dreamed about, but our defense is getting better.
He's got a motor and a mean streak. 2 things I like at LB

We'll have a shot at a pretty good corner with our first 4th round pick... They said they really liked Will Lee.
I like it... Today we added a starting LB via trade and added another versatile LB who is smart and flat out gets after it on the field.
We are still very much relying (heavily relying) on our new Defensive staff to get the job done. But with Caleb Downs as our new field marshall, I like what we are doing.
