No idea how Cleveland can even make this work with the cap... doing anything with Garret would immediately throw over $100 million in dead money onto the cap. Maybe if they do a post June 1 deal they can spread that out?
They also have Watson still sitting there with a $44 Million cap hit if he's on the team and $86 million if they cut him. Again, maybe they can spread it around if it's post June 1.

Stating the obvious again.... but I'm still in a bit of disbelief what the Cowboys pulled off yesterday.
- Got the #1 rated (by some) player in the draft
- Got one of our top targets with Pick 2
- Sprinkled some fairy dust on two 5th round picks and they magically turned into 4th rounders

Sounds like we will stick at #92 tonight unless a player we like falls into the middle of the 3rd round where we could reasonably give up one of our 4ths to move up.

The Browns would be a dumber organization than I thought if they went for that package. Any Eagles 1sts would be at the back end of round 1, so you're basically getting multiple 2nd round picks.

So I just used ChatGPT for it. It also gave me the caveat that Jimmy's point system tended to overvalue mid round picks. Basically if the cowboys wanted let's say 70, they'd probably need to part with both 4ths. Like you said, I don't think they do that. I think the game will be sitting on our hands until the 3rd starts, then start making calls , and ultimately look to use one of the 4ths to snipe someone they like.
