It's not just one person, we're probably just lucky no one was killed this time, and they nixed it before it really got out of hand. I heard conflicting reports, that the watch party was still family friendly, but then others said it was just a hang out for young gang bangers who were there but not even watching the game.

part of my wife's job title is "image development" here in OKC...I've heard just about every bit of Oklahoma "smack" there is, when she tells me how she reaches out to personally host each numnutted sportswriter (most recently some boob from Minnesota) who blogs about backwards Oklahoma

I will give you props for the dual meaning though

visit OKC, after dreading my relocation 3.5 years ago, we've really enjoyed it, lot's of growth and exciting new stuff going up. never thought we'd say it but we're kinda advocates for the city now.

The Soup family ranch was in Chillicothe, Texas (right on the Red River, nothing there, so don't bother visiting) and about half the family settled up north in Oklahoma. Been up there many times. Actually had a distant cousin I never knew killed in OKC in 95.

It was apparently some evil okie inside joke. I had a tshirt long ago that said I skiied Turkey Mountain. My grandparents talked up that I could ski there if we visited for Christmas. I begged to go. "Oh, I guess there isn't enough snow again for the billionth consecutive year. Maybe next year."

Soup,

He also had a bunch of rebounds and assists, several of them crucial. He was fantastic, and it is stupid to downplay his performance.

He took an extended rest during the 4th quarter. He came back into the game with 7 minutes left in regulation. From that point until the end of the game, he had 6 boards, 10 points, and 3 assists. All of that while being just 1-5 from the field.

Bron did have that offensive rebound that saved possession, but his use of the last 10 seconds of 4th quater was absolutely stupid beyond belief. He had a mismatch, had plenty of time and settled for the absolute worst shot in basketball. He basically did the worst thing he could do.

LeBron had zero assists in the 4th quarter. He had one offensive rebound and two defensive rebounds.

Haslem and Battier made the two key shots in the 4th, assists bed Wade and Chalmers.

LeBron missed 4 free throws in the 4th and OT. He did make 8 FTs. His lone FG was tipping in a Haslem missed lapup. LeBron had two assists in OT and none in the 4th. .

Bron left the game at 8:33 (wade subbed in for him) and he returned at 6:58. Hardly an extended return.

4th Q and OT:
James had
1-5 FG
8-12 FT
10 points
2 assists
Choked with 10 seconds left in regulation by making a terrible decision and taking worst possible shot in the NBA.

If you want to keep being an idiot and downplaying a guy that went for 34/10/7, along with the 4th quarter and overtime numbers that I provided above, feel free. But it shows that you are letting you emotions drive your judgment.
