The Spurs got what the wanted early, OKC's big guys just kept making shots.
which is humorous considering what happened on the other end just previous to that play.

Absolutely. But the point is, people who don't know jack about this team, still insist Westbrook doesn't know when to give it, doesn't know when to back away. He clearly does, and the point of my post was he doesn't let it affect how he plays the rest of the game.
This has been a competitive game. I thought for sure after the end of that 3rd quarter the Thunder were f'ed.

Pahdz, I guess what everyone else is saying is that a lot of the time, he DOESN'T know when to give it. He's done well deferring this game though and it's the reason the thunder are gonna win the game.

I think focus is the issue. Parker has stopped running the offense altogether most the game.
Pop has been too concerned about playing favorites with Bonner and Splitter to swallow his pride and put Dejuan in the ****ing game.

All of my sports teams pull an aggie every year.
But he does know when to defer, if he didn't this team wouldn't be where they are. This is a good basketball team. They don't get where they are if Westbrook was playing hero ball every night. He's not without faults, but he gets a bad rap.

This is absolutely mind boggling to me. Ever since Blair has been in the league, he's dominated OKC.
Ibaka was the difference in this game. Face it, it does not matter who it is, anyone goes 11 for 11 that isn't a primary scorer, and your prospects are slim to none.
If he keeps it up, good for him, but you have to figure he won't shoot nearly that well on the road.
Durant has been a beast. Big props to him. Spurs will play better at home. I still think they will take game 5 and take it in 6. This isn't a bad loss. OKC has played great. We missed some opportunities.

The Spurs should have finished this crap in 5. Screwing around now to the point that one awful game or a great game from the Thunder could turn the series completely around.
Going to boil down to the Spurs holding serve at home are losing the series in 6. Sure thought the Spurs could get the split but not the way they played these last 2 games.
That was as encouraging a loss as you'll get. Ibaka scoring a career high and nearly setting an NBA record for most shots without a miss (mostly jumpshots), Durant unable to miss, Perkins scoring 15, and the Spurs were still in it at the end.

Not to mention at least one CORRECT goal tending call changes this game down the stretch...

and Westbrook and Harden having terrible games, so if Ibaka and Perk drop off (likely), those two guards will hopefully make that up
OKC in 6. Makes me sad, but they are flat out the better team.
However, the Spurs margin for error is now gone. They have to play great ball the rest of the way.
A couple more encouraging losses and Spurs season is over.
Westbrook and Hardin dropped off because they Spurs are focusing on them, just like Parker and Ginobili have dropped off because the Thunder are focusing on them.
Perkins and Ibaka aren't going to combine for 12/12 or whatever it was from the perimeter very often even if they are open.
