How quickly things change. Pop getting schooled by brooks and spurs look like the lesser team. Just got to hold home court.

I don't see how Pop got schooled. He made a mistake in not playing Blair earlier, but outside of that, he wanted their bigs to take more shots and got just that. They likely won't hit those in San Antonio.

and Westbrook and Harden having terrible games, so if Ibaka and Perk drop off (likely), those two guards will hopefully make that up

The defense Pop played had much to do with that. If Ibaka doesn't shoot as well, it isn't really logical just to assume those guards will make it up.

OKC in 6. Makes me sad, but they are flat out the better team.

'Both teams have won both games on their respective home courts, not sure how you can say this. Also, like I said, it took Ibaka going 11/11 and Durant playing all world(which I acknowledge he's very capable of doing) at home to win. Even if Ibaka plays that way again, it will still be tough in San Antonio. All things else equal, being in SA and ibaka coming back down to his usual self, SA takes game 5.

There was nothing encouraging about this game for the Spurs. They wasted away two chances at winning road games by flat out not playing for 6 and a half quarters, and Pop getting the most lopsided schooling from another coach that I've ever seen.

Any of the people saying Scott Brooks should be fired if the Thunder don't win something soon are wrong. He has owned Pop since the 3rd quarter of game 2. Owned him.

I seriously don't understand where you are getting this from? If someone told you Ibaka would go 11/11 on his home court, would you think it would matter a darn what else Pop did? Other than not playing blair, what exactly has pop done wrong that has equated to him getting schooled? You do realize the players on the court matter, right? Just because one team loses doesn't mean they got outcoached. I'm tired of reading about someone getting outcoached every time a team loses. Ibaka doesn't have that kind of game, and the spurs might have won on the road, all the while having the same coaching. Would you still be screaming that Pop got schooled?

The night and day performance of Games 1-2 vs 3-4 is a bit frustrating.

I didn't see too much of a difference between game 1/2 and game 4, especially in the second half. The only big difference was home court and OKC hitting more shots. Even so, if that games in San Antonio, I feel the spurs would have won game 4 playing the essentially same way they did.

SA had no offensive flow in games 3-4. They were thrown off. They better get that back for home court if they want to survive.

I disagree. They had solid flow in the second half of game 4. Not as good as in previous series, but still good.

If game 3 was in SA spurs would have won. Your point

I believe his point is that its stupid for spurs fans to say "if game 4 were in SA, the spurs would have won"

Not really. We're talking about moving forward to game 5. Or at least I am. Game 5 is in San Antonio. I'm simply saying that if the spurs play the same way they did in game 4, they have a great chance at winning.

So??? My point really flew over your head, didn't it? I'm not saying I want the spurs to have had 3 games in their home court. The spurs have home court throughout the playoffs. The point is until SA loses at home, you have to believe they'll win at home. Just seems logical. They have to lose at home to lose this series. IMO, the way they played in game 4 would result in a win in game 5 at home. You don't have to agree with that opinion, but it's certainly not a stupid point.

I've seen enough in this series to lead me to believe okc could beat san Antonio at home. These seem like pretty even teams and the differences come down to coaching adjustments, individual heroics and chance.

Yes, 2 pretty evenly matched teams so far.

Will be extremely difficult for OKC to win one on the road, but I like how they've slowly grown through each round.

Wow, you're obviously not getting it. Yes, I'm talking about how I believe game 5 would play out. Let me break it down for you.

Guy 1 says if the spurs play the way they did in game 4, they will lose game 5.

In response to his comment, I disagreed, saying that if game 4 were in San Antonio(you know, like game 5 WILL be), then the spurs would have likely won that game playing the same way. You can disagree with that opinion all you want, but you are taking my comments the wrong way. I simply used game 4 as the example because someone else said we couldn't play that way and win.

No one has said that they couldn't. Of course they can, but you have to admit SA should be the favorites.

so let's make sure we're all on the same page...
if all the games were played in San Antonio, the spurs would have already swept; and, since the spurs haven't lost at home, the correct worldview is to assume they won't lose at home in the playoffs.

Not even close, but nice try. You're being really dense about this.
