Are spurs fans complaining about a player whining to the refs? Tim Duncan is the the king of winning tothe refs. He's the reason the whinning rule was put in place.

Haha manu is one the craftiest players to ever play a game. That statement is nonsense.

He's been that way everywhere, not just Houston. Yeah Timmy does his bug eyes, but Timmy also has 4 rings

Lol, Harden is worse than Manu ever was and close to CP360 status and you even attempt to mention flopping?

What was it y'all said in your thread to me? Oh yeah, gtfo back to your own thread.

Howard complaining about a non call and missed the play. His man got a dunk and Splitter sucks at dunking.

I like seeing Kawhi post up Harden. As I type this he takes him all the way to the hole for the layup and one.

He needs to make Harden work both ends.

Manu has been solid tonight.

Manu has been solid all season really. I like ayres' rebounding but he has to be the worst offensive player in the league. We just can never seem to get over the hump when we are down to good teams
Mainly because we let them explode in one quarter.

Splitter gets no love from the refs.

We need to get some stops already. And stop taking crap low percentage shots.

This.

We get a couple opportunities with the rockets short handed from a player on the ground and Tony settles for a long jumper then pulls it out. Gotta get in the paint and force the issue on those.

Woof. Harden is having his way. Splitter is a ****y.

And actually I think the refs have been pretty favorable for us tonight.

Leonard gambling for a steal on Harden with the shot clock running down 30 feet from the basket... Kawhi is a smarter defender than that.

Wretched start was just too much to overcome tonight. On to the next one

Refs have not been a problem. Splitter playing like a giant vagina has been a huge problem though. Terrible performance all around.

And we settled for way too many jumpers tonight. I know Howard is going to affect shots in the paint, but we got him in foul trouble. Gotta keep attacking him and get him on the bench. That huge first quarter did us in. Just like the second quarter against okc, we dig ourselves in a hole and can't quite fight our way out.

Is it just me or has he missed every single time he tries to go with his "hook shot" this year

I had to listen to the game on the radio, but it sounded like Splitter got owned over and over and over and over again on the boards, Parker wasn't trying very hard to get in the lane, and the Rockets were going at Bellinelli every possession in the 4Q. I like Belli a lot more with the second unit, I think the Spurs need Green and Leonard on the court during crunch time against good teams for defense.

On the plus side, Timmy had 11 points, 14 boards, 5 assists, 6 blocks, and a steal. Not bad for an old man.

I feel like the effort hasn't really been there for us lately, from Parker especially.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Parker should have owned Jeremy Lin last night and instead acted like he was getting a Heat style blitz off the pick and roll.

I also agree the Green needs to be with the first unit for defense. Belinelli gives good effort on D, but he's just not that great on that end.

Pretty much everyone except Duncan got owned on the boards last night.

The Rockets blitzed us hard for the first 7 minutes. That was the difference in the game. Too big of an early hole.

Tony just doesn't look right. Not sure if the calf is still bothering him or what but he wasn't even trying to get into the lane like he usually does. We all know he is what makes us go and when he isn't at his best it makes it a lot harder on everyone else.

Obviously the defense was also horrible during certain stretches.

I also objected to the idea of starting Marco over Danny before Pop ever tried this tactic and I certainly disagree with it now after seeing the results. Marco is better off the bench with Manu and Patty and I don't understand why you would mess with that second unit when it was playing so well together.

Yea, I'd like DG back in the starting lineup as well.

Spurs are done. Can't beat the good teams any more. Even in San Antonio.

It's still early. Don't get worried until at least February.

Also, the Spurs have been done since 2009, or so I have been told every year. The Spurs will be dangerous as long as they have Tim, Tony, and Pop.
Ulrich

Initial story said Green was back in the starting lineup, but apparently Pop changed it back at the last minute.

How in the world was that a foul on Ayres? Even the Dallas announcers are confused.

Apparently the Mavs second half offensive gameplan is to run into the Spurs and fall down.
