Patty played great. Pop inserting him into the starting lineup was key. He needs to play aggressive when Tony is out.

Well I can't sleep, so I'll address this.
Patty's job isn't to facilitate to others. His primary function is to be instant offense off the bench, and share the ball handling with Manu and Marco. Tonight, Mills wasn't very efficient shooting the ball, but without Tony and Manu playing horribly, we needed someone to get their own shot to open up the floor for everyone else. And that's exactly what Mills did. Also, he shot poorly from inside the arc , but was 6-11 from 3. If you're making that many 3s at that high of a clip, keep shooting. Off the top of my head, I don't recall bring frustrated with Mills shot selection and he never stopped the flow of the offense because he got trigger happy.
In normal circumstances, Patty is playing behind Parker and Ginobili isn't coughing it up every time he touches it, so he can play more off the ball and knock down open 3s.

I was surprised to see him come out from the locker room so quickly last night. Fingers crossed that his knee will be okay for the playoffs. And all of our players...
Duncan and Pop couldn't have been too concerned about his knee. He played 40 something minutes.

If it came down to it, I don't see the Spurs having a hard time going 1-1 against Houston / LAL. That's more than doable, since Dwight and maybe even Harden probably won't be playing anyway, depending upon standings of course.

Hmm I dunno about that. They have New Orleans twice, Detroit and Indiana. Could easily win all those and probably will.
Spurs still have the Lakers which should be an automatic W but I'd rather the Spurs not have to play any of the big three from here on out tbh.
You could very well be right, but it seems likely they would shut down Durant and Westbrook for at least a couple of those games. I know they could still win without those two, but it seems a lot less likely.
Dragic is out for Phoenix tonight. That certainly helps our chances tremendously.

This turned out to be a great game and with the win they officially clinch the #1 seed. I hope they rest the starters these last two games but we'll see.

4th quarter was great to watch. Glad they didn't back into the #1 seed. Still scratching my head over that Minnesota game but maybe that needed to happen as an attention-getter.
I want to see Austin Day play 48.
