Good to have Kawhi back. He's missed some easy ones but got a three and an alley oop, so hopefully it'll get him going.

Many on his 3rd turnover I think. Lots of dumb mistakes after a long layoff.

Lots of easy shots missed too.

So. Many. Stupid. Turnovers.

Trying to be too unselfish and throwing it away when it's not necessary.

Some typical stuff from not playing games in a while. I'd imagine we get back into the seeing of things next half.

A little cold in the 4th and some lack of defensive rebounding causing issues.

Told you we'd get into the swing of things.

Good win after 4 days off. Kawhi looked good considering how long he's been out. We'll get Parker back soon and should be rounding into form by the time the playoffs hit.

Cleveland beats OKC tonight as well. Spurs within 1 game of 1st now.

IF (big IF), the Grizzlies can knock off the Thunder on Friday, I think there will be a little bit of problems in Thunder land as they would be 0-4 since Westbrook returned.

Given that, I expect that Durant & Westbrook will combine for about 65 points.

My guess would have been Matty.

No discussion on Granger potentially being picked up by the Spurs?

It's not going to happen so there isn't much to discuss.

The weirdest stuff happens when Manu is around.

There was a little on here before the game started last night. If playing time is really that important to him for the remainder of this season, then I don't see him coming here. Pop certainly won't guarantee playing time to a new player who doesn't know the system, and who is not the same player he was prior to his injury.

Spurs reportedly interested in Granger and Butler. Well see what happens but it's probably likely they choose to go elsewhere. There is an open spot behind Kawhi at the 3 but Pop still wont promise playing time like some of these other head coaches. The Spurs will be blunt and upfront with these guys about playing time and their opportunity and some guys like that and some want to be coddled and told what they want to hear.

I would welcome either one here but barring any injuries, our playoff rotation is pretty set. I repeat, I would still sign either one if they were interested.

They have to sign by tomorrow so we should know by then. With OKC struggling since Westbrooks return I would be surprised if they didn't get involved in the buyout market. I think they might end up with one of these highly sought-after guys.

I would love to see MWP on the team. He can hit corner threes, he can still defend the best player on the other team, and he isn't nearly as crazy as people make him out to be.

It would make life a lot easier for everyone else if the spurs could throw a barrage of Kawhi, MWP, and even Boris Diaw at the likes of harden, durant, lebron.

My guess is these guys realize that it'll be too hard to crack the rotation and get solid minutes.

With all of our guys coming back healthy I'm sure Pop will be using the last couple months to nail down the rotations. Added height/depth behind Kawhi would be nice but adding someone would cut into the chemistry of the bench guys (Marco/Manu/Patty and Boris). I don't think I would want to mess with that group right now. Those guys together are the biggest upgrade from last years team.

MWP would be a nice addition for defense. I would worry about him jacking up dumb shots and throwing off the offense. I do think he is smart enough to pick up on Pop's offensive system though.

The Clips definitely won the buyout market. I don't think Big Baby and Granger will be enough to put them over the top (or into the Western Finals), but that certainly made their bench a lot deeper. Fortunately, neither of those guys improve their porous defense.

MWP is smart enough to know that he'd be playing along side Manu and Marco and all he'd have to do is hang out in the corner.

I agree World Peace would be a nice addition. He seems like he would be fine with a small role and could help with spot minutes on Harden, Durant, etc.

Saying that, he's pretty much done as a player. He's been awful when on the court this year. If anything his toughness would be contagious though.

Sure he's crazy but unlike Stephen Jackson he's never been known as a lockeroom cancer.

The Spurs don't appear to be interested anyway. I think Antwan Jamison would be a more likely pickup if the Spurs do indeed sign someone else by today. Jamison is also done as a player though.

McGrady is too busy working on his fastball to make another playoff run.
