I agree with this.

Regarding House, I have mixed emotions. His contract is a great value relative to his talent and performance, but I'm still disappointed about the bubble incident Man in my mind he's gotten a little ruined by being part of the Harden posse. Not sure if that's just my jaded opinion.

I thought maybe a team like the Lakers would've traded a second round pick for him. Their 2nd rounder is worth about as much as a Chandler Parsons Rockets jersey. But apparently he's not even worth that.

There is always a sucker in the NBA.

Remember, nobody ever thought you could trade CP3. At the time it was considered the worst contract in the NBA and we panic traded him for another bad contract. The next year OKC flipped him for a few useful young players and a first round pick.

There is always a young team that thinks they are just a PG away from competing OR a desperate contender that suffered a brutal playoff exit and needs to retool. If Wall stays healthy someone will eventually be willing to throw a draft pick our way.

I agree, but I doubt people will take a flier on him when he has 2 more years left on his contract. And he hasn't finished a full season yet in over 2 years.

The 2022 deadline or offseason makes way more since, when he has 1 year left on his deal and hopefully a solid 1.5-2 years of no major injuries.

Maybe my original statement of "big haul" might be in question here. I would be happy with a first round pick and a promising young player. I think we could get that next year if he keeps shooting well and stays healthy.

Just to be clear. I don't think I would pay that price for Wall, I just think someone else might. I honestly wouldn't have traded Westbrook for Wall (probably wrong), Capela for Roco (probably right), or CP3 for Westbrook (definitely right). There just seems to be a surplus of desperate GMs that will eventually do something stupid.

No chance someone is giving up assets plus paying Wall's insane contract (like I said...who has room for that contract?).
