I won't pretend to have a real grasp on the working of the NBA lottery but I believe I read with the worst record in the league we would have a 52% chance of getting a pick in the top 4.

Looks like it's 54.5% chance for a top 4 pick, so you are pretty close.

Denver seems to have made out well in that trade for Gordon.

Doesn't look like they gave up too much and got back a really good fit for them.

I think Gordon might thrive playing next to the Joker. He doesn't need the ball, has really good hands and finish at the rim...basically the ideal PF to play off the big man.

I am hoping for a buzzer beater that sends Dipo somewhere as a rental, or maybe get him to Miami quicker than expected....

Sounds like Dipo wants to be in Miami. So they'd have him in house to sign him long term. And he's 6 years younger than Lowry.
