Watching on NBATV (Portland broadcast) and they keep going to this floor level sideline shot that is worthless. They keep using it when ball is on other side of the court and you can't see anything happening.

I think Harden was expecting Tucker to be in the corner for the open 3 but he crashed toward the basket for the first time in 331 games.

Yepp, Harden mid-air gathered looking for the corner and has to instead re-direct to a crashing PJ and RoCo deflects. Bad execution. Honestly would've rather seen Harden take that 1-on-1 3 when he first caught it

He wasnt crashing. Wash the replay. From the getgo he was in no mans land. Makes no sense
Tucker was easing his way down the baseline. Maybe shouldn't say "crashing" , he might've been thinking Harden was taking a shot all the way and just trying to be there for the board. Either way he wasn't where Harden thought he was supposed to be (corner 3).

Agree with easing which also makes no sense as our offense is all about that corner threes. But he shouldnt be easing either. You crash or stay put. He was in no mans land so strange as he has been a corner 3 threat on tbis team for how long now?
A big part of me will miss James because of nights like this. James balled out and then couldn't finish which may be a microcosm of his entire career, but man it was fun to watch. Most franchises don't have anything 1/10 as entertaining as James to watch and that will hurt if he is eventually shipped out.k20dub said:

The offense looked a lot better. Much more varied, not just iso ball. James moving a bit without the ball. At this point I'd hold onto him until the trade deadline. See how the team looks between now and then and whether he buys back in. That's also when you get maximum leverage. When the Nets are looking like the clear one seed some other teams will up their offers.
I wouldn't trade Harden unless you get a phenomenal return.
Harden is realizing Christian Wood is a stud. Let him play with him for a few more games and he might want to stick around. Add in John Wall and Boogie off the bench and he might recognize he is in the best place to win. The team has depth this year and a coach who might actually use it. I think everyone needs to see how this plays out before he bails.

Lots of positive thoughts on the game a couple of nights ago, but all I'll say now is that the Christian Wood train is LEAVING THE STATION, BABY. So hop on while you still can.
