Been married long?

My wife and I stopped the autographed item thing after:

1) Johnny Damon went to the Yankees
2) Mike Lowell got injured and then retired (at least he retired as a Soz)
3) Youk got shipped out.

We started to think that whenever one of us got the other a signed item, bad things followed it.

In other news, the Sox released Sizemore today. Unfortunately that experiment didn't work out. Looks like the youth movement gets time to grow this season. 10 game road trip upcoming.

I kind of agree that a starting pitcher shouldn't be the MVP seeing as they play only 1 out of 5 or 6 games.

It has happened. Doesn't necessarily mean that I have to agree with it.

Like Chowdah said, Token, I know it happens. I don't agree with it. Even if your starter wins every single game he starts, that's only 1/5th of your schedule.

In the playoffs or World Series, this is most likely true. However, in the regular season (which the MVP is an award for) it isn't true as they won't pitch twice in the same series.
