The one positive in this weather delay is that I got to watch my baby girl play a soccer game in Knoxville, and may even make it home in time to watch the game with drink in hand.

And for the record, my bubble machines are with me in the car. Willing to use them on the road between Knoxville and Nashville if the game starts before I get home!

Timeline of our day coming in from Katy

11:00 AM - dropped the baby off with some family in Bryan
11:30 AM - obliterated some lunch at wings n more
12:15 AM - parked at Reed, watched some Netflix while catching up on this thread
1:30 PM - wife wanted coffee so we hit up Starbucks and heard that crazy thunder
2:00 PM - picked up baby and headed back to Katy now

Hopefully 7ish PM start time so I can come back and go.

Commissioner's manual says 10PM, at the absolute latest, but if the weather in C.S. right now is anything like it is here in Tomball, I can't imagine that game happening at all. (Definitely glad I bought those Friday tickets instead of Sunday.)

1993 the game was pushed back, but only delayed till late. Allowed us to clinch conference at Olsen.

This weekend has been as much of a nightmare as it could get for POS. Lost the series, pitching got exposed, lots of rain delays, you name it. Now we need a 9:30 start to make today as long as possible and put the cherry on top.
