Every time this happens, I flash back to my time at A&M when we had to get a game in with t.u. for the standings.
The old ballpark a Kyle Field was flooded after a heavy rain. We had the fish and other "volunteers" out there soaking up water with sponges..

I have a seriously dumb sip friend I grew up who disappeared all weekend from our HS friend group, then popped up today saying the "****s" wanted a rainout so we wouldn't have to play them.

Air Force Ag, the resident actual meteorologist on premium / X said this wasn't handled well by the admin. He's was posting models early this morning saying it was going to be delayed and they should have been much more proactive in how they managed it...

I looked at my best guess for longest thread prior to first pitch. 6/15/24 cws against florida. Rain out that started at 10. I was there with my 3 boys and we had a blast.

1st pitch was on page 21... We will beat that tonight.

I think the beers should be $2 each. That would certainly send some home to the Woodlands early.

We could also live-stream the fights on the berm. That's a revenue stream that we haven't yet considered.

The AD of the local team is in charge of any start, stop changes that need to be made. They can consult with the other team but the decision lies with the local AD, subject to following the league procedures and policies.

Yep. I can see the water tower. Really rough weather around Waller and Hempstead but it hasn't been too bad on the way north on Highway 6
