A double header should have been played yesterday. The cancelation of tonight's game prevented us from playing a 3-game home series for the first time since 1992. Now, we will have to wait until 2028 for the next opportunity to do that.

bottomline...the Ags won the series

and finish the 1st half of conference play at 9-5

the cancellation creates interesting scenarios for regional hosting / top 8 seeding with a 29-game conference schedule

15-14 may be good enough to host a regional -- don't have to get to 16 wins

17-12 might be enough for a top 8 seed -- don't have to reach 18 wins

Stop it. There was less than 3 hrs precipitation of 30-40% predicted for today as of noon yesterday.

For those who bought single game tickets like General Admission...You can get tickets to another regular season game. I guess that includes weeknight games as well? Already have GA for the rest of the SEC games..

No. Everyone on here can swear we wanted to play, and maybe we did, but we had a wide open shot and missed it. Which leads me to believe we only wanted to play if certain conditions fell into place. That doesn't make me mad and this isn't critical of the team or staff, etc.

But we could have played today. And as I post this the rain picks up.

this is the Ags' first cancelled SEC game since the 2015 season -- when 2 road games were cancelled due to weather

tonight is the first home SEC game to be cancelled

Everytime I start to think we may have a fan base with a little common sense someone post something like this.

Yeah they did this. How do people seriously think this actually happened ? Are Yall like 8 years old??
You realize our players, baseball staff, Olsen field staff, grounds crew , stadium workers and along our students and fans sat around all day as well right?
So you think that's somehow " sticking it to the sips" when we would have been doing the exact same to all our people as well?
Not like our players went home and Texas team was sitting there in an empty stadium by themselves

Another small storm line starting to form just west. Looks like headed for north Bryan and one toward south CS.
*What is also amazingly strange is I looked at various online rain gauges around town inlcu one at Kyle Field. All show less than 1/10th of an inch today.
