I would be hugely disappointed if Odenkirk, Banks, and Seehorn didn't all win an Emmy before the show ended. (As a career/series win.)

Then again, they didn't even nominate McKean when he should've won for Chicanery. Absolute travesty.

In last season's finale, he did that move where he somehow leapt up into the ceiling of that travel place, and then dropped down through the ceiling on the other side of the glass. I love how there are these subtle nods to him almost being super human without any explanation whatsoever.

Watched the last scene again today with fresh eyes. Kim was as good or better on second viewing. And her rant was perfectly set up by how she went after Kevin and Barry Corbin.
The other thing was Lalo's expression at the end. He still knew Saul was lying, but he also knew Kim was right - he didn't have anyone else and needs Saul. So yeah, T&P for Nacho.

Interesting you chose 15 feet, because that's what it ended up being for the stuntman after some rain came in and washed out that little gully some more.

Exactly! You know they are getting a kick out of adding little things like this, just to screw with us a bit! Maybe Lalo will be a new character in the next phase of Marvel.

Lalo is just a badass. I like everything about his character. Mike was always my favorite character but Lalo is a close second.

For sure Lalo knew Saul was lying and was probably gonna blast both their asses.

One theory is that Kim makes Lalo realize that even though they were lying he could still somehow trust them both more than he could trust anyone else at this stage.

Another theory is that he knows for sure someone is working against him but if he kills Saul and Kim whoever it is will know for sure he is on to them. He chooses to just continue on and let it ride for now.

In any event, great acting all around but I got to give the nod to Lalo.

I watched this episode of Better Call Saul Monday night and then last night we watched S3 ep 9 of Ozark. Damn, that was back to back nights of great TV there.

For all you people with younger kids, Gilligan just gave you a new strategy (The Lalo).

Who made that mess?

- Jimmy is lying to both Kim and Lalo.

- Jimmy doesn't know that Kim knows he's lying.

- Kim is forced to defend Jimmy's lie, the lie Jimmy doesn't know she knows.

- Lalo knows Jimmy is lying, probably thinks Kim is lying too.

- But Lalo can't call Jimmy out on his lie, because Kim is right in her argument/lie.

- Lalo has no idea Mike is listening.

- Mike knows Jimmy is lying, knows that Lalo knows Jimmy is lying, but doesn't know that Kim knows Jimmy is lying.

This is all obvious, I know, but the more I think about it, the more I believe this might be one of the greatest television scenes of all time. To set all of this up, and precisely execute it all to maximum tension/drama, is the very definition of next-level, expertise craftsmanship. I've truly never seen anything like it.

Well, its believable that an abandoned car would be shot and pushed into a ditch out there.

Probably hard to figure out what the play is - he got his money, it's clear Jimmy went through a hardship to get it there. Why would Jimmy get shot at, how would he have survived, and why would he be handing over the money with no story?

I mean his demeanor as he wordlessly walked out of their condo kind of looked like he wasn't sure what to think. Has a gut feeling, but the arguments were persuasive.

But then he gets in Nacho's car with a plan, so who knows what his read was.
