Here's a cool breakdown of the entire BCS/BB timeline

We are still more than 4 years away from the start of Breaking Bad.

I don't think we catch up to the BB timeline. Just my 2 cents.

The show went beyond BB in its very first scene.

I know they will make it good but I think it would be cool to have Saul's first appearance in BB be in some of the last episodes of Better Call Saul to see it from Sauls perspective and tie it together.

Found a pic of my '73 Javelin. This would have been around '78 or '79. Definitely taken on Lodgepole in College Station.

That 304 was actually a nice engine.

While at A&M '92-'95 I had a 1974 Jeep CJ-5 with that same AMC 304 engine. It was a three speed and geared like a tractor, actually got pulled over once by the CSPD for accelerating too fast. Also had 6 people in a four seater though, and it was at night, so that may have contributed to the stop.

I would love to see even small cameos from Walt & Jesse in BCS but apparently Peter Gould said that won't happen. Maybe he's lying to protect the surprise.

I'm an old Ag, as indicated by my post, and would not normally do this, but can't resist... user name checks out.

Yeah, it's nostalgic, but would be really cool to see him in his office with the packed waiting room and they come walking in.

So Chris and Andy (from The Watch pod above) both think we're getting a THIRD show after Better Call Saul ends its run. Chris thinks we'll get a Kim show, Andy thinks we'll get a post-Gene Jimmy show, but neither are convinced Kim dies, and both think there's no chance that Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are done with this universe after BCS. I hadn't considered a third show, but their reasoning does make sense.

With that in mind, and with the 13-episode count for season six, as opposed to the usual ten, do you guys think the extra padding is to devote more time to wrapping up the Gene story, is the Saul endgame that expansive, or is it a combination of the two? If it's a combination of the two, I'm going to be so curious to how it's all distributed. Does Better Call Saul end in ten episodes, and the last three are all Gene? Are all 13 episodes Saul, but with a decent amount of Gene sprinkled in at the beginning of a number of episodes? Or do we only get one Gene scene at the beginning of the season, per usual, and a third series picks it up from there? I have no idea how they're going to play it, but no matter how they do, this has the makings of a "final season" like we've never seen before, for a number of reasons. And I can't wait to see how they pull it off.

Having a Gene show fixes the aging actor problem they are starting to have. I'd still love a Lalo / Salamanca family spinoff.

I'm going to be a little disappointed if we don't get to the BB timeline by the end of BCS. Even if it's nothing more than Saul walking into the interview room to talk to Badger.

It'd simply be too unbelievable to have 40-year old Aaron Paul make a cameo as 22-25ish old Jesse, unless they could use CGI to make him look younger.

This is a really good look at Kim and how vital she is to the show.

To me, Mike's story is sort of at its completion. He's going to be around obviously, and there's always intriguing things for him to do on the show, but there isn't much development or additional backstory needed for his character.

This show has become about Kim, because we don't have a clue what happens to her (and because she's a great actress playing a well-written character).

I'm not sure why, but I don't think she dies. I feel like the Jimmy we see in BB doesn't come across as someone that has lost his wife due to a drug hit.

Feels like something Netflix would be happy to take on

I don't see them making another show unless they have a killer idea for it.

I don't really see much else in this universe being worth devoting a few seasons to telling, currently.

They mentioned that as a potential route as well. Maybe even multiple movies if not a full, third series.

Was it ever suggested that Saul/Mike help Nacho disappear through the Vacuum company?

Then he would feel comfortable blaming Nacho at the start of breaking bad

I like it, I think vacuum guy needs to be a Saul contact and not somebody Mike knows about. Is there a point in s6 where Mike trusts Saul enough to disappear Nacho without GPS finding out?

I always assumed the Vacuum guy contact originated with the Vet.

Seems like the Vet was originally a Gus contact. No?

I mentioned that theory earlier

We know Mike feels bad for Nacho but Gus won't let him go.

I think Mike helps Nacho escape via the vacuum guy (that's his contact) but he does it with the help of Saul so that Gus won't trace it back to him.

I figured someone must have.
