We know that hasn't happened because of the year they're in. See the discussion from the old man's lease situation.
We're currently in 2004, and BB starts in 2008.CoachRTM said:
I figured there might be something I missed.
What year are they in and what year did BB start?
Maybe. Seems to me though me though that they wrote that dialogue on purpose; I took that as a means to inform the audience.Bobcat06 said:
Barry Corbins comment was "Were 30 years into a lease that started in 1974"
That could mean its 2004, but he could be using 30 years casually. Like if I said the Chicago Bears won the Superbowl 30 years ago, although it was literally 34 years ago.
So it may be 2005 or 2006

I hear you, but no one's saying it has to be a "cute" reunion or that they get married or anything like that. There's a bittersweet version where, as low as Jimmy is in the Gene timeline, there's still someone who forgives him in her own way. They may never see each other again after this brief, theoretical reunion, but even if not forgiveness, maybe there's some form of closure to be had on both of their parts in one last encounter. I'm not looking for a happy ending, but I at least hope we get a meaningful one.

What is y'alls take on the symbolism of the ants? These cold openings usually have some kind of symbolism.
Is it that Saul getting his license back is all happiness and joy like a fresh ice cream cone, and reality steps in and drags his whole life into ruin again, just like he finds the ice cream cone engulfed by ants?

Kim's story is about to come to a head.
And bowling balls have unknown purposes (though it's weird he had them picked out before the meeting).
I think that sums it up.

Barry Corbin was awesome as Roscoe. Also in the ending of "No Country for Old Men."

After careful consideration sir, I've come to the conclusion that your new defense system sucks. [/Wargames]

That's what I always think of Corbin being in.
I thought he said something like "they got it".OldArmy71 said:
When the guy calls Gus to report the results of the "drop," what does he say when Gus asks about the money?
Yes, I believe so. Seemed like it was part of his plan. Thought they were going to go more into that. This show could honestly be 2 hour episodes. Almost every time a scene ends, I want it to keep going.OldArmy71 said:
Yes, thanks, but he says a phrase before that. Did Gus intend to leave them the money?
