You also have a very strange memory, because she is just talking at a normal level in that scene.

My idea of a LARPer is neckbeard fat white guys so the whole thing seemed off to me with only one of them being a fat neckbeard. Seemed like way too many socially adjusted people that bathed regularly. Maybe I'm out of touch.

I would totally larp if I knew people to larp with...pics and stuff I've seen + cosplay at comicons make it look pretty diverse.

It takes a certain amount of either self-confidence or lack of self awareness to LARP. It's one thing to be a nerd, but it's another level to make sure everyone around you knows you are a nerd.

LARPing looks like fun, but the people that do it take it way more seriously than I would ever want to.

For the record he had hearing problems in the comics as early as 1983.



The hearing aids and ASL were pretty big plot points from Matt Fraction & David Aja's run on Hawkeye in 2014. It is really great, if you like this show at all you should read it.

I just got to this part. You've got to be ****ing kidding me with that comment. There was zero "yelling". Everything she said in that exchange was the same tone and volume. It's no different than a straight guy saying his wife got it for him or a straight girl saying her husband got it for her. If you're offended by that then you're just trying to be offended.

late to the party...but I finally watched episode 6 last night...and it was very, very good.

the Kingpin was great. I liked that he was a big part of the finale, but also that he didn't dominate the finale (like Kang did to the Loki series).

Wasn't expecting to see Kate fight him one-on-one. That was awesome. Kate looks very regal in the way she fires her arrows. Stands tall -- great posture.

I also liked that Kate's mom stayed the same to the end. Did not show any remorse or regret for what she had done. Remained true to her convictions. Need more Vera Farmiga down the line.

strangely enough...as all the relationships came to a resolution...I thought Maya & Kazi's was the best one. Had the greatest emotional punch. Alaqua and Fra Fee were really good.

it will be interesting to see where Kate and Yelena appear next. Would like to see them interact with some of the heavyweight heroes (and villains)
