You need to go watch the Netflix run. It's the best Marvel show that's been made aside from this one. It has some absolutely incredible fight scenes and Matt Murdock is a great character. Hawkeye is fantastic. We caught up and watched 3 episodes last night. He's always been my favorite character in the MCU, so I've been waiting for this show. I've also read most of the Fraction arc that this is based on. Also, Charlie Cox Daredevil has already been announced as coming back. Just not sure when and where.
Looking back at my Netflix it looks like I watched most of the first season of punisher. I didn't watch any of DD. What all and in what order should I watch the Netflix shows? Iron Fiat was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid but I know the iron fist show was panned.
The only ones worth watching are Daredevil and season 1 of Jessica Jones. Everything else is absolute garbage

I thought it was terrible personally but to each his own. If you like Daredevil you'll probably enjoy it.

it was a good episode. Wasn't sure how much Yelena would be featured. It turned out to be a lot. She does dominate / take over the scenes she appears in. I'm hoping Kate takes her down a peg or two in the finale.

Mixed emotions about this last episode.
I think that stuck the landing. I was kind of amazed they really tied all of that together.
I loved it. My favorite of the Disney+ series.
That was a fun ride.

I assume this is about Kingpin. He's clearly not dead. I've never seen a more obvious not really dead moment. He survived an arrow to the heart and a massive explosion. There's no way he dies from an off screen gun shot. I just hope we don't have to wait long to find out what happened. The big complaint about the MCU has always been that they don't have great villains. Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin solves that problem. They could give him his own series.
The finale was fun. Liked it a lot!
Apparently this scene is shot for shot from the comics and he survives. He could easily be left for dead, or he knocks the gun away
I know about the comics. And he goes blind and the recovers… but that was a great episode that did NOT need that scene.
It could have been you see him walking down the ally… bro bus pulls up… echo gets out… but you don't see it's her… and then you see shock on Kingpins face… and black screen credits roll…. Leads perfectly into the Echo series…. That I don't care one bit about and I bet majority of fans feel the same way… I get it… Native American… she's paraplegic… and deaf…. She checks all the PC boxes… but damn that's gonna be a boring show. She killed her interpreter… the score for that series better be amazing, because their won't be much dialogue.

There actually seems to be a lot of excitement for her as a character in the fandom. If you have Fiske involved that definitely ratchets up the interest. Honestly can see that scene finishing out as the cold open of her show
Also that scene where she shrinks the truck and the Owl flying them away was both hilarious and existentially terrifying
It was a fine finale. As a series, it was definitely my favorite of the Disney+ shows. It definitely took one of my least favorite Avengers and got me to really like him a lot.

I also wanted to focus a bit on the Pym particles he has used in the show. I really like what I see as subtext in this show regarding those two moments. Other than assisting the Avengers in End Game, the Pym particles have been kept very under wraps by Dr. Pym and Antman. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I like the idea that Clint is one of the few people, even among the Avengers, who they have shared a bit of the technology with because they really trust and respect him.
Just something I think about when I see him use those two arrows. I doubt they're handing them out to all the Avengers.

I've never heard that the MCU doesn't have good villains. I've always thought their villain catalogue is better developed and delivered than any other franchise. With the likes of Thanos and Loki in the mix, it's hard to argue.

I think Kingpin would equate to someone like the Mountain in GoT. Just absurdly strong but a normal person.

Before 2018, that was absolutely the complaint from people. You had Loki, and other than that you had... uh... Ronan, Malekith, Whiplash, Yellowjacket, etc. Plenty of ok-but-not-memorable villains.
