A few miscellaneous thoughts:
1) The MCU has forgotten that Peter is Spider-Man, but they still know Spider-Man. Spidey could team up with the Avengers, and they'd remember that they'd teamed up with him before, without knowing that he's a teenager, or that they've seen him without his mask.
In the comics, Spidey has been an Avenger without the other Avengers knowing he was so young. That sort of thing. He just keeps the mask on.
2) I don't think Spidey should ever be leading the next Avengers team. That'd be neat, but it's not really within his character or comic book history.
3) Spidey can still be a part of the MCU in a way that isn't just re-meeting Falcon or Doctor Strange. He can be college friends with Iceman or frenemies with the Human Torch. The MCU grows each year - plenty of room left to explore.
