And by come out, I mean descend via wires from the ceiling dressed as superman with lasers around me and a squadron of bald eagles wearing sunglasses.

Based on other screenings available through Amazon right now, there are a few theaters in DFW that are within a 20 minute drive of my place. I'm hoping a closer one pops up, but beggers can't be choosers.

Say what you will about Zach Snyder, but his Krypton opening with Russell Crowe is one of the the most stunning "I had no idea this was coming" things in cinema history for me. Up there with the opening battle of Gladiator - so 2 for 2 for Russel Crowe

It's one of my 2-3 go to movies that I will watch late at night if I'm bored and want to watch a big action movie. This movie has only gotten better with age IMO.

I love this movie.

Man of steel holds a special place for me because I proposed to my wife after the premier. I'm also a huge HC fan boy, and while the mood for the movies was darker than previous Superman movies I still enjoyed it

Same. This movie has a lot more early screening locations than The Batman did.

When I saw The Batman early, I sat in the old upright chairs at AMC at the Frisco mall. Most uncomfortable 3 hours of my life.

This time I get a theater in north Frisco with recliners.

Damn, that's a great ad.

I'm starting to realize that they didn't make this movie for me to appreciate as a grown up who once loved Superman. They made it for the kids, and to remind the adults of the Superman they once loved so they can feel like kids again.
