I'm glad someone else said it first. This looks like a CW Green Arrow / The Flash crossover promo.veryfuller said:

I still think this isn't going to work, but I would love to be pleasantly surprised by it if it does.

Yeah, strictly in terms of design, the print media and merchandizing for this movie has been pretty bad. It all just feels so minimum effort and uninspired. Then again, it's hard to make cheap, ****ty-looking costumes look great.
I have faith in the movie itself - I think Gunn will ultimately deliver when it comes to plot, character, fun, etc - but man the look of this thing continues to be a disappointment.

That's as problem with most of the DC world. They look like comic book heroes no matter what. You can't make them look like they would ever fit in the real world. Flying around in blue spandex, red underwear and a red cape can never not look cheesy.
The MCU definitely had an easier time making it work.
A new #Superman trailer is incoming.

Feel the same exact way. DC has always been "comical" appearing no matter what, which is why I think it's been so hard for the DC universe to translate to the big screen. There's just a feeling of "would they really be wearing this goofy attire in real life?" That takes away from what you're watching.

According to @THR, the marketing budget may be $200m for ‘SUPERMAN’. That’s 50m more than the standard for marketing, so they’re definitely going all out for the film.
