There are rumors that she's in the movie itself, in a cameo-like capacity, but yeah, the post-credit scene would make the most sense.

I'll put it this way... she's 100% in the movie, it's just a question of whether it's before or after the end credits.

Either way, yes, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is the next DCU movie, which just wrapped filming and releases June 26, 2026.

But also probably the best one.

That said, as much as I like Nicholas Hoult, and as dedicated as he seems to the role, I'm still not quite feeling his Luthor. Or at least the way he sounds. On the surface, I wish it were a more expressive, Bryan-Cranston-like actor. Though, I could easily see Hoult's performance being one that plays better in the movie than it does in trailers.

I personally love it. He's doing a great job, from the trailers at least, of showing Luthor's pettiness towards Superman and how he thinks people should revere him more than they do Superman. Starting things to turn public opinion against Superman and trying to put him "in his place".

What I'm really hoping for is some real stakes from Luthor. He takes something from Superman or does some damage that is irreparable. The biggest nit of the original film is Lois dying and then not dying. In Man of Steel, Zod and company destroy a huge chunk of Smallville and threaten his mother directly.

I want Luthor to "win" at least some of the movie not just wound Superman for a while but then he's even better than ever.
