If they did, they would understand that governmental agency can never be charity regardless of the appearance of goodwill or benefit to the recipient. DOGE is not taking control of the government. Its sole purpose is to shrink the federal bureaucracy and it even has its own expiration date that will make it last shorter than a single term of any elected official on Capitol Hill. So hell yeah, I'm good with it. If the Democrats had done this I would have been skeptical but would have cautiously supported it. (Thing is, the Dems would never do this across the board.)

I can't overstate how strategically smart it was to take on USAID first. They are the ones who fund hit piece journalists and rent-a-riots to shut down any reforms.
