Truly feel very bad for the people of Ukraine and grateful to have a US President that places Americans first, and so can empathize with Zelensky's always trying to improve the odds for his people - but man what a miscalculation and terrible course of decisions. He just wrecked his people's own best chances.

I don't buy this. We've let the Europeans establish this narrative as a means to try and control us. Europe could step up. They could stop doing business with Russia. Not until after Ukraine withstood the first wave. Let's not rewrite history, most everyone assumed Ukraine would fall within a couple of weeks. No one was lining up to throw money away on a lost cause. The first few weeks were spent trying to punish Russia economically. No one seriously started supporting Ukraine's military effort until Russia was already bogged down.

This war isn't about NATO. Never was. It's a simple land grab.
If Russian assets arrived in Mexico we wouldn't target civilians in Mexico City, nor would we try to annex Mexican territories as additional states.
