The shirt would be the easiest to trace. Only available on EBay. How many could the seller have possibly sold? A few hundred? Easy enough to collect the names and addresses and do some door knocking.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is "getting treated"

Treated to a shallow grave...I'm not too familiar with Utah but I suspect there are some states he would never ever be found

The video of him walking down the street with the severe "limp" was BEFORE the shooting. He was on his way to campus and had the rifle running down his back/left side under his shirt and to just above the knee.

The video of him jumping off the building shows him landing, doing a little hitch step because he had to pick something up, then he runs with no limp whatsoever across the grass and then speed-walks down the sidewalk.

I want to point out that ALL of the talking heads on TV believe he has the gun in his pants and is limping BEFORE the shooting…

I think that's probably what we should assume…

I just personally don't see it…I'm probably wrong…

What I don't understand is that they keep saying he's going to get the death penalty.

I would think you would hold on to that until after you capture him. Now he knows he's going to die, what keeps him from offing himself when they get close?

There is no clear footage I saw of him limping AFTER the shooting. The limping is before the shooting.


I was MOSTLY commenting at that LONG drop off the bldg. It makes perfect sense that the limp BEFORE was due to the concealment of the rifle.

More importantly this may make family or friends hesitant to turn him in. Remember Ted Kazsynskis family agonized over turning him in for that reason.

Utah definitely has those places in the high desert, and if not there, there are even more desolate places right across the border in Northern Arizona. There's nothing there except massive Mule Deer Bucks and the Grand Canyon in that part of Northern Arizona.

A lot of confidence in what?

The amount of times they requested for anyone with any information to call into their tip line, left me with not a lot of confidence they are very close to solving this. The information that was presented in the press conference that was delayed for 5 hours because of "breaking developments" was posted on TexAgs and X this afternoon. I am not being critical of Kash, the FBI, or local and state law enforcement, I was simply stating my feeling that I do not have a lot of confidence that this investigation is close at all to identifying the suspect and it will likely have to be someone who knows him that turns him in.

While I fully believe the limping video is pre-shooting, adrenaline of having to escape from murdering someone in cold blood can make up for a limp. There were plenty of times in my youth I had injuries (including an fractured ankle) and would limp from classroom to classroom but once the ball was tipped would be running near full speed and nobody would have known the wiser. Later that night or the next morning it would be obvious, but when a situation calls for it the human body can do remarkable things in the face of pain.

All that to say, he/she/it may be limping after that drop right now, but they scampered away very quickly in the other video.

Agree. I don't necessarily "see" him concealing a gun in the home security video with the limp. But definitely possible. Doesn't really seem possible for him to have a rifle concealed in the stairwell still photos the fbi has released.
