Why does everyone state the fact the murderer hasn't been apprehended less than 24 hours after the shooting means they are some kind of professional hitman expert? Correct…they basically said they have a good fix on the dude's face, described him as being likely of college age, said they do not think he was on a rampage targeting random folks so the community isn't in danger, they have his gun, they alluded to having evidence on the weapon left by the shooter, and they clearly stated that the video they have of his face is pretty clear, and they are confident that they have the technology to figure out who it is…and if they don't, they'll release what they have to the media for assistance…
Reading between the lines leads me to believe they have already used the technology, they have a good idea about who they are looking for, and they are not going to tip their hand publicly about being further along in the investigation than they want the suspect to know…

He simply happened to be a better shot then the Butler guy, shot once and fled, and the security at that campus event was minuscule compared to Trump's event. There were no counter snipers on other roofs immediately triangulating in on him. So easier to get away.
But they are going to get him. Just too many resources in a case like this. when local, state, and Federal plus the whole national public are hunting you like the Boston Marathon bombers or that guy who shot the healthcare CEO in New York, they are going to get him.

A lead sled is a device that holds a rifle very firmly in postion to make the most accurare shot possible while sighting in a rifle.
