I wasn't aware of that. How do we know it's AI? This is why AI is a disaster.

For one the fbi has only released a few photos. None were this clear. Then look at the shirt and the hat. AI hallucinates with things like that a lot. The shirt turned from an eagle over a flag to a gun or some other object? The hat went from an adidas hat to all black?

Edit to add: these are two photos released by the fbi. Can easily see they took one and put it in AI asking it to "make it clearer."

Patel showed his inexperience with the announcement he made thinking the shooting suspect was in custody only to have to walk it back after. That makes you appear incompetent, trust but verify.

I bet he learned his lesson and isn't going to say jack chit on the matter until they are 100% sure they have the right guy in cuffs.

Not to derail but strong leadership doesn't have to say a word. Actually letting emotional rhetoric flow out and give away any of what you're thinking would be opposite of strong leadership. Strategic, composed, calculated, allowing those boots on the ground to have some opportunity….strong leadership.

If you watch the clip where he is talking to Charlie with the bullhorn, you will see the hate he has for him. Not hard to see him doing it in my opinion.

Again, the details like ears, jawline, nose are all AI. Hell, someone could have put the grainy fbi photo in ai with the photo of the dude on the left saying make this picture clearer and make it look like him.

I watched VP Vance and AF2 this evening. Very sad and somber all around. I've tried picturing myself taking Mr. Kirk's place and what that would do to my family. It's just impossible to imagine it… impossible to comprehend what they're going through. I'm called to pray for them, and I am, but I just can't wrap my head around their new normal.

All I know is that trying to wade through the 7,000 leads that the FBI has received via crowd source and deciphering social media hoaxes and AI has got to be a nightmare. Even though we have all kinds of technology now to help, the smoke screen of social media and AI is disastrous and muddies the water. I'll bet it's harder to conduct an investigation/manhunt like this than ever before because of stupid social media hoaxing and AI. What can you believe is real or a legit lead?

i think they know, on some level, who this ****bag is.

he's likely being surveilled right now. I think this guy is envisioning himself to being the next Luigi, assassin hero to the left, so let him think he got off Scot-Free and then pick him up at McDonalds in Yuma.

They have touch dna, finger, palm prints, he left a screwdriver, cell phone locations, video, a path before and after. Just going to take police work to solve it.

I agree. We saw some examples of bad showboating load stuff which fizzed out. I want to see real thoughtful leadership and that is usually cold, calculated and well thought through. I hope we are seeing that, time will tell.

I put a marker down last night, then took it down. My son knows a 4Chan suspect very, very well. Years ago, my son wanted to bring a TPUSA chapter to his school. The kid in question, also a student there, protested loudly against it. It was a private "Catholic" school. The school said TP USA violated their rules against having political groups on campus. Yet they would have weekly prayer rallies around the flagpole for Blacks killed by police officers (after George Floyd). Fair enough. But the kid didn't end there. He was in our Boy Scout troop and seemed to make it his personal mission to destroy my son. I'll be back with more details about the kid if it indeed turns out to be him.
