Well I am not revering the shooter. I have no admiration or respect for him or whatever interests he was serving. We don't have anything really to compare this shooting to currently because we have no idea who the shooter is. Saying someone is competent is not revering them. The guy made a one shot instant kill and then got away with it at a large public event with police and security everywhere (currently at large). I'm not even sure if we have recovered the rifle. We are just disagreeing on whether it was because he knew what he was doing or just got comically lucky.

Initial reports claimed Kirk was "stabalizing in critical condition", when video showed he clearly died immediately at the scene.

Our FBI director claimed the shooter was in custody.

A liberal reporter even claimed the shooter was a Kirk supporter firing his gun in celebration.

Today there was unusually bad info floating around. Hopefully tmrw will be better.

Fortunately Dems are out of office, so we dont have to worry about drone/satellite imagery not being authorized. With all the ground based cameras, dash cams, and door cams, I would think an image will surface in coming days.

Claiming they had skill they may or may not have is a form of reverence. They may have had elite skill and tactical training, historical odds would favor they didn't. It's not impossible. Bestowing that competence on them without evidence they possessed it is a form of reverence.

I'll grant them that perception after they're caught and it's determined they're an expert, but odds heavily favor they're some ****head losers like the two guys that took shots at Trump and this individually unfortunately succeeded.

The populace is mentally unwell. People have called in claiming ownership of serial killings they very clearly could not have committed. In a crowd of 1000 people, someone is a total ****ing but job.

No sorry it's not not a form of reverence. Go look up the definition of reverence. I will not accept you labeling me as revering this killer.

How can you even compare this assassination to trumps attempted assassins? Crooks took multiple failed shots and was smoked by counter snipers. Routh didn't even get a shot off and was arrested. Kirk's killer got a one shot instant kill and escaped. They are incomparable. Your argument cannot be "well trumps attempted assassins were X, therefore Kirk's killer is also probably X".

Not much is obvious or reliable at this point.

The old man was probably a protestor who decided to mess with cops. Why would libs celebrate Kirk's death on social media? Because they are mentally ill with derangement syndrome. The old man was probably not much different, he just took it to another level while resisting arrest.

These werent decoys, they were dipsheets.

And if a drone is unavailable how about posting a couple of officers on the roofs. The campus police chief stated they trained for these scenarios but somehow your training doesn't include securing the high ground. Unbelievable

This interview has been circulating a lot recently. Basically Charlie is saying Netanyahu potentially allowed for October 6th to happen in order to unite the country and prevent a civil war.

No idea of the veracity of any of the claims but that's a very damaging stance

This video has started circulating. Basically saying that he questions if October 7th was allowed to happen by Netanyahu in order to unite a country on the brink of civil war due to Netanyahu re-writing of the constitution. The assassination does feel very foreign government esque. Could be wrong but its interesting.

Based on the ATF briefing snippet on the other thread, I assume we contacted foreign intelligence/government agencies to get more information on the gun. Does not necessarily mean it was foreign actors involved. The gun was an older foreign make and the authorities are probably tying to glean clues or confirmations by establishing an ownership chain.

Mausers are a common surplus gun here in the U.S. It's not like it would have been smuggled in.

The reality is five eyes spy on each other's countries and share info to get around privacy laws, domestic surveillance laws, etc.
