With the father ultimately giving his son up, do we count this as a win for Kash Patel/FBI?
He's alive and in custody without harming anyone else.
Why wouldn't it be?

he got radicalized somewhere and probably at minimum followed some Antifa group.

Does the Dad get the $100K?
Legal fund down payment.
The left will raise millions to defend this guy.

The bullets found had trans-tifa type markings on them, maybe the gun did too? Even though the guy looks like a normal college kid, he got radicalized somewhere and probably at minimum followed some Antifa group.
was this ever confirmed formally?

Wow. He was 200+ miles away.
Source? Details?
Just heard that on CNN. Says he was way down in far SW Utah. Showed map showing how far away he was from scene of shooting.

Initial press conference and reporting indicated that the bullets had trans/anti fascist ideology on them. Maybe it was bogus reporting but a number of outlets reported it and I thought they noted it at one of the press conferences.

Obviously he doesn't exude a grunge / antifa / ****stain vibe. And still close ties to home. I'm thinking the guy was manipulating his SSRIs and was so jacked up he could see his face reflected in the sun. Probably wrong but that's my gut.
Charlie Kirk shooting suspect identified as Tyler Robinson, a 22 year old Utah resident.
— Polymarket Intel (@PolymarketIntel) September 12, 2025
Robinson is now in custody after confessing to his father, who then contacted authorities and secured his son before he was taken in.
He lives in a $600,000 6 bedroom home in Washington,…

Sad... If he's 22 then that means that since he was around 12 years old he's been listening to crazies tell him that Trump, and anybody who supports him, are *fill in the blank*.
All he's ever known is that somebody needs to do something about the MAGA people... And so he did.
This is why we blame them all... The left media and politicians.
....which would point back to his dad,,,,,
Mayber this shooting was a 'bridge too far' for the dad.....and was so conflicted that he sought help thru a Pastor....There's a lot to unpack here.....
His dad I would expect to be conservative based on the shirt.Tyler Robinson with his father Matt in earlier days, who turned him in. pic.twitter.com/E9o0eT3KLW

I would hazard a guess Tyler was radicalized on campus/in school.

Yeah, saw that - just curious if this was actually confirmed or just initial conjecture

As a result of hate, a kid smart enough to earn a significant scholarship, and a presumably a supportive family, will spend the rest of his life in a maximum security prison, and a influential political star is gone, leaving behind a wife and two kids. For what? Sad, sad state of affairs in this country

To me this actually creates more questions than answers. The kid clearly was intelligent, all indications are he came from a decent home...this is absolutely senseless

I understand that. My point is this is not the type of scenario I would envision playing out in the assassination of a conservative figure, that's my point.

Or he changed his views when he got to college. A lot of people do. Maybe he wanted to differentiate himself from the ideology he grew up around.
Assuming this kid is conservative is a major stretch to me if he's actually the one who did it. It doesn't make sense.
FL_Ag1998 said:
Just because the dad and/or family is conservative doesn't mean the kid felt the same way. There are a lot of kids who didn't feel comfortable speaking out or "being who they really wanted to be" until they left home for college.
This kid could very easily have underlying issues that he held back from sharing with his family. Especially if those issues are homosexual/trans in nature (re: the supposed writings on the ammo).
