I don't think any images of the marked up cartridges was shown so could have been conjecture. I heard one guest maybe on Ingraham or Waters or Hannity note that the guy may have studied or modeled that after recent killings in MN where the shooter plastered his ideology on the gun and ammo.

Its not the one that was recovered. It will be interesting to see if the gun recovered is actually the weapon used, or if it was a plant to be a distraction.

Just because the dad and/or family is conservative doesn't mean the kid felt the same way. There are a lot of kids who didn't feel comfortable speaking out or "being who they really wanted to be" until they left home for college.
This kid could very easily have underlying issues that he held back from sharing with his family. Especially if those issues are homosexual/trans in nature (re: the supposed writings on the ammo).

From FB: Mother is a social worker, they seem financially upper middle class. Not overly religious. No political posts. They traveled a lot as a family. Seemed very normal.

Exactly, i know **** tons of people that are progressive nutbags who come from conservative homes. A few of them are all on socialism.
