As to the fake break-in and stolen records. Why would anyone steal parent records, lol. Also, some of those records were likely pulled together for some purpose, such as a filing for a state agency. That agency will have the records. Also, a ton of records would also be maintained on computers. I admit to not reading the whole story and maybe it mentions the computer or computers were stolen as well. If they were stolen, there should be backups maintained if they were legit, and some records are also stored via the cloud or elsewhere.
Assume it was a group of parents (who were getting a cut or in on the scam) and with their low IQs thought by snatching the records they wouldn't get caught up in it?
