The feds haven't said much of anything about it because their own US Attorney has been investigating this. And they tend to not talk much about ongoing investigations.

The main problem seems to be with all the stealing of Federal, State and Local government taxpayer money is that there is very little Auditing and Physical visiting to the places of business of the entities getting the funds even though legally they are subject to Audit. Every entity receiving taxpayer funds should be audited every year.

This will be fascinating to watch unfold. How deep is this rabbit hole? What about other groups - are Somalians are the only ones taking advantage? Is the day care fraud the big prize, or is it just the tip of the iceberg of more fraud?

Follow the money. Just like USAID. If legacy media isn't reporting on it, it's because money is changing hands at the highest level of the business. Bank on it.

edit: this is such an easy report to investigate and communicate. And their audience would eat it up. There's no reason to bury this story other than promises were made to do so…at least as long as possible.
