So, 17 games. Here my cowboys guess. Very tough schedule. One International game.

Split the conference: 3-3

Wins: Texans, Cards, Colts, Titans, Jax

Losses: Tampa Bay, 49ers, Sea, Rams

8-7. Good enough for a tie breaking WC berth.

Maybe a coupla teams pull away from the pack, but it's gonna be a mass jumble at seasons end. Every game will be critical. Obviously, injuries and depth will be a major factor.

I don't see how the team finishes above .500 if the division record isn't 4-2 or 5-1. Need to split the Eagles games and go 2-0 against NYG. Washington should be no worse than a split and probably should be 2-0 if we want to be in the playoffs.

He tore down his house and rebuilt it for that girl. She couldn't handle the thought of all of the ass he slayed in the old one. Probably for the best that this one got called off

I just wanted to chime in and say I can't wait to see Caleb Downs play football this year!

I haven't been this excited and sure about a Cowboys rookie since Zeke... and in year 1, Zeke managed to overdeliver on my expectations which were unrealistically high.

I think Caleb is going to deliver over and over again for this team. I don't necessarily have visions of pick 6's, but he's a guy that will show up every single week and double digit tackles/impact play games won't be uncommon.

I 100% understand. I led my HS team in tackles senior year... I was a free safety. I had a great time, but it wasn't good. (old man reliving his glory days on TexAgs).

But, I'm all for it if a majority of those tackles are 2-3 yards from the LOS. WR screens and RBs getting to the edge turned into big plays way too often last year. I'm looking for Downs and Thompson to both have an immediate impact here.

I was in school bc the front 7 was just falling down in every play. God bless that man

I remember friends being like "the defense is designed for him to make the tackle every play."

I'm beginning to wonder how this Giants team is gonna function this year. 75 IQ ******s at war with the starting QB and both throwing shots at each other in the media doesn't feel sustainable.

LA has basically gone into "F them picks" mode by drafting Simpson and now trading for Garrett. Not that Garrett isn't worth a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd rounder.

As for AJ Brown to the Pats... pretty much the worst kept trade secret in recent years. Everybody knew this was coming as a June 1 move.

Yep, being reported everywhere that, for the moment, Blue is finally doing the things they expect from a pro. I'm not saying he's equal in talent, but if he gets it together he could have an Achane-like impact on this offense.


Other notes that I've been hearing on podcasts for those that don't listen during the offseason:
  • Overshown is going to get the chance to be the Green Dot wearing Mike LB.
  • Caleb Downs is already playing golf with Dak, yelling instructions at DBs/LBs pre snap, pretty much being the rookie phenom player that everybody instantly gravitates to. Amazing.
  • Jalen Thompson a bit of a surprise doing mostly rehab type work... Ez & Bland doing the same as expected. Reports that it looks like Ez is going to need some time. Should be ready for the season, but sucks that he's missing OTAs and possibly some camp... young guy needs work.
  • Secondary looking much better than this time last year despite missing some guys.

So we went to the World Cup matches at AT&T and they put big see-through FIFA logos on the outside of the endzone glass. Zero glare during the game at 3 PM.

It was so nice
